Hi there, the blade is pretty good,,the handle isn't as good as the BK7 I have and the edge does seem to chip quite often, easy to sharpen and very light,,a good review is in the offing when I can cram it in...all the best!
@neroma thanks for your comment, this machete is about 3mm thick so it is not a flexible type machete like a Tramontina( which quite honestly are KICKASS!) but this will chop slightly better,it is stiff enough for many tasks but as I mention last month it does chip out,,it is 440 series stainless so a budget steel with a full flat grind but for a small terminal edge,,a bit brittle,,,check out Condor for many alternatives in this £30 price bracket,,probably a better move to be honest!
@bassfuryvi Thanks for your answer, . I already have a few Tramontinas and a ColdSteel Kukri machete which is stiff enough and really tough, but I was tempted by a stainless machete and that great handle. Maybe I will carve some finger grooves on the handles of Tramontina because are slippery.
@neroma no problem, the handle is great but the BK7 is slimmer and better,if you did get the Magnum,,it is probably worth slimming the scales down,,all the best"
mate that is some piece of steel over 5 mm. and the beast edge is just mashed after the floor chopping.

I didn't expect a video -but I DO appreciate it Scott so thank you! There seemed to be some confusion among online sources so I thought I'd ask you.
Now that you've had the blade for a while, what are your impressions?
The blade steel is listed as 440 -so I guess we can assume 440A: I was thusly surprised by your cutting tests. Thoughts?
