You said that was taken when you were a senior in high school.?! I'm just going to say you werenot mean't to fly if that was all you can do!.! I am a 6th grader and I do way more than that!.! Like one of our stunts is a ground up turning scorpian to scale to heel-stretch back to scorpian than down.! And that isn't even hard we do like 360 ups bow n arrows and everything! But I guess we were born to cheer! But for people that wasn't born to cheer that was pretty good.! (:
@ bestflyer1: To be quite honest. Cheerleading has expanded to what many of us thought would take much longer. We aren't all raised in cheerleading and our parents don't all pay $2k a year for us to learn it. Some of us choose it as a hobby and passion. I am a cheerleading coach and I find it pathetic for you to say such negative comments towards people you 'supposably' share the same passion with. This video is from two years ago. Please move your negativity elsewhere.
those wer good, just on the first stunt... keep ur leg locked flyer.. & on the second one w the heel stretch, work on ur flexibility so that u can kick ur leg up & grab ur foot instead of ur calf.. but GREAT basket toss!

This was the first stunt in my team's routine before we changed it yet again... But this was pretty good. Just make sure you stay locked out in your scorp.
i hav a reallyy goood tip 4 u, wat kind of stunts r u doing? u tend to push ur bases? if ur coming up into say a liberty,just practice going up with ur hands in the air doing the motion for a liberty.still not working? then comment mee on my channel. best of luck!!

as for being a flyer, a good flyer can simply hold their own weight. Skinnier and lighter the flyer is, the more likely that they will not tighten every muscle that they have and depend on their weight when really no matter how heavy or light you are, you should be tightening every muscle for the best balance. As for the fourth grader, that's awesome that you can do all that. Be careful with those double downs though; girls have been injured from that horribly...good luck!!!
just because you weight so little doesn't mean you should be a flyer. True it limits much else you can do b/c chances are you don't have much strength. If you have good balance, are stiff, willing, and trusting then you will make a perfect flyer! otherwise you will probabaly end up as a front.
it doesn't matter how much you weigh.You could be 85 pounds and as shaky as a chihuahua or 100+ pounds of solidness. It's worth a try to see if you have the control and balance it requires
practice your balance on a couch or chair, something soft. it works better than practicing on something solid. then stay tight and don't be afraid when you go in the air, the bases will always catch you!
dont balance yourself, let your bases and backspot do that. just stay tight and keep your line all the way to the top. it took a while for me to get a lib too, keep trying, you'll get it.
the first flyer is not fat!shes skinny!idk what your talking about shes skinny and your just saying that prob cause your fat.....but you guys look good!

In the very last stunt the flyer has a wide V just bring it in a little bit. Great Stunts tho :)
