Sadly, I just discovered this guy tonight. Wondered what happened to him. Found out he died of cancer in 1994. What a waste - he was so great! Wish I'd discovered him earlier.

One of the funniest comedians I have ever seen. The way he used his voice and his facial looks to make his routine even funnier. I wish that they would put out some DVDs of his performances so we could see a whole stand-up routine of this genius of comedy. RIP.
Very much like Red Skelton (even with the redhair) just had a clean show, His comedy was based on life experiences. Had forgotten his name until I Googled Jewish comedians from the 80's who had died. One of my favorites, too bad video was not clearer, but that you have it at all is a treasure. Thanks for posting!!!
I miss the late 80s and early 90s comedy. Those were some booming years...and Dennis was the man with the wiggling tongue and shifty sqinty eyes. RIP Dennis.
I'm so glad you appreciate him. Back in the day of televised comedy clubs, he was a rare find.
I loved how he made fun of himself, while still exhibiting an intellect above most of the audience. he would make fun of his eye oddity by saying he was the new poster child for the "Coffee Generation."
Thanks to whoever got these great clips online for us all to enjoy. Dennis Wolfberg was one of the funniest comics who ever lived. Met him in Culver City one summer day in '91 or '92 He was gracious, kind and very funny. My friend and I went that night to his show in Pasadena, where he played with George Wallace. They were hysterical. We were very saddened to learn of his death just a few years later. Dennis you rock! RIP
Dennis, you were great. RIP indeed. I saw the host, Jimmy Brogan, live at Pasadena's Ice House. He killed too!

My favorite comedian ever.
Don't be misled by the material. He was a dedicated school teacher for 15 years before making his breakthrough.

This guy really could've been a huge star. I think if he had lived he would still be getting regular character work.

OMG. Wolfie AND Wallace in the same show?
You're lucky to have had the experience.
I'd be ready to meet my maker after that.
