  • Dennis, you were great. RIP indeed. I saw the host, Jimmy Brogan, live at Pasadena's Ice House. He killed too!

  • Dennis Wolfberg was epically funny...

"A pistomologically..." I just started cracking up...

  • At least he made it though.

  • Only the good die young.

  • Sadly, I just discovered this guy tonight. Wondered what happened to him. Found out he died of cancer in 1994. What a waste - he was so great! Wish I'd discovered him earlier.

  • Classic. Looking for the one where he says "Mr Wolfshitz"

  • @showent I have it on MP3.

  • Brilliant!

  • you ever notice the truly funny comedians almost never swear or get raunchy?

  • this guy was fantastic....period

  • One of the funniest comedians I have ever seen. The way he used his voice and his facial looks to make his routine even funnier. I wish that they would put out some DVDs of his performances so we could see a whole stand-up routine of this genius of comedy. RIP.

  • @bigbong1970 his facial expressions were do to the coke.....funny as hell, high as a kite

  • Very much like Red Skelton (even with the redhair) just had a clean show, His comedy was based on life experiences. Had forgotten his name until I Googled Jewish comedians from the 80's who had died. One of my favorites, too bad video was not clearer, but that you have it at all is a treasure. Thanks for posting!!!

  • He is "The" Best!!!! I think he is the greatest comedian EVER!!!!!!!!

  • The real life Mr. Kotter. He was gonna be GREAT.

  • the absolute best comedian ever...damn cancer!

  • I saw him in concert with George Wallace. It was amazing. Those two guys worked so well together.

  • this guy can get me to flat out belly laugh, one of the greats!!

  • He was one of my absolute favorites. Always funny. Gone too soon.

  • My favorite comedian ever.

Don't be misled by the material. He was a dedicated school teacher for 15 years before making his breakthrough.

  • This guy really could've been a huge star. I think if he had lived he would still be getting regular character work.

  • Yup, a genius. A real loss.

  • I miss the late 80s and early 90s comedy. Those were some booming years...and Dennis was the man with the wiggling tongue and shifty sqinty eyes. RIP Dennis.

  • Thanks for posting this. He was hysterical. Underrated, should be honored somewhere.

  • I miss this guy... hysterical

  • Ohhhhhhhhh the delivery...... HYSTERICAL!!!

  • I've been lookin for some of this guy's material for YEARS. This dude rocks!!

  • I was looking for his work too. He was fantastic!

  • I'm so glad you appreciate him. Back in the day of televised comedy clubs, he was a rare find.

I loved how he made fun of himself, while still exhibiting an intellect above most of the audience. he would make fun of his eye oddity by saying he was the new poster child for the "Coffee Generation."

Unique in a world of yadda yadda comedians.

  • D.W. is one of the funniest Comedians in the industry.

  • Thanks to whoever got these great clips online for us all to enjoy. Dennis Wolfberg was one of the funniest comics who ever lived. Met him in Culver City one summer day in '91 or '92 He was gracious, kind and very funny. My friend and I went that night to his show in Pasadena, where he played with George Wallace. They were hysterical. We were very saddened to learn of his death just a few years later. Dennis you rock! RIP

  • He was an all time great.

  • one of the greats.

    such an original delivery.

  • One of the funniest and underated comics of all time. Saw him with Gerge Wallace in Florida. Standing ovations for both. Died waaaaaay to early

  • OMG. Wolfie AND Wallace in the same show?

You're lucky to have had the experience.

I'd be ready to meet my maker after that.

  • rip
