I guess it depends on the context in which the directions are given. If you are looking at a map when you give the directions and you go through it step by step, there is no problem with saying it is on your right because at that stage in the directions it IS on the right. If you gave directions without a map then "it will be on the right" would sound more natural.

Suggestion.....
When you tell someone what they will see after they've turn a corner you should use the future tense.
Saying "the hospital is on your right" should be replaced with "the hospital will be on your right".
I know it's easier to find mistakes in someones work then to see it in your own.
Excellent demo with the graphics and other vids etc.
My students are slowly getting there.
