I bought the toy for less than half a year and it was broken and malfunctioning

This toy rc car is fun,I want to get one for practice drifting before drifting on a large nitro car. Where can I find takara tommy drift car? I had checked some online store, mostly out of stock. Can it be find in store?

@Life1001 prolly not, try to actually go to a different country, like japan or hk, hk is where i got mine (hong kong) its working brilliantly

@Life1001 Look on ebay for them but dont pay more than $70 au including postage for them, otherwise just try somewhere else. i currently own a pink rx-7 drift package light car. had it for a year or two then i dropped it and bent the axle :P you cannot buy them in stores in anywhere apart from hongkong and japan. i hope this helped you :)

I did a lot of drifting with my RC jeep I bought at Radio Shack. That was a fun toy. It held up pretty well. I've moved a couple of times since, so it may have gotten lost in the shuffle.

@dkbm95 they are in japanese but its easy to tell from the pictures and theres one or two english instructional videos

it uses AAA batteries? will it last long?

if it dont last long i think it will be a problem 4 me 2 buy the batteries. cos AAA are more expensive than AA, and if it cant recharge..err... no money for batteries

I have the corolla levin and turned it into the trueno :P

But yeh, trust me the batteries dont last long either. but for the first 20 mins they drift like the things you see in the films haha :D

1000mah should last way longer that 20 min
