I am not a fan of Coldplay and after hearing this song on the radio a million times I was really suck of it..also keep in mind I'm not a huge country or bluegrass person but this cover was PHENOMENAL..the vocals and the instrumental were brilliantly arranged and sounded amazing together...keep it up guys :)

nah, the original by Coldplay had more to do with the lyrics about a person who had everything and lost it all, there was some melancholy and sadness, this version is just a bunch of guys playing banjo and happily singing about something sad. I don't think they understood what the song is about.

@mthalion Bluegrass is melancholy joy. A contradiction of being a being simple and pleased at the same time. A king wouldn't sing in this fashion. It's the music of the common people. So it works. On a level never intended by the original author which makes it a great cover.
