@Mattvt96 autodesk products are year forward, the newest stuff is autodesk (product name) 2012, and porbably in early 2012 they will release 2013 versions

Autodesk tutorials explain how to use Inventor, i.e. how to draw a line, circle, extrusion, how to do fillets, springs, pockets, how to change dimensions etc. Once you know how to do that, you have to learn and understand how a car like this, or anything else you want to create, is made and how it works. Then, you have the tools to do it, plus you have the idea of what you want to do, and now you're ready to do a project. Start with something simple, design a coffee cup, scissors,...
