@5440Borderline It's made from quality materials and built twice as tough as the L Espada. Blade on the CS Espada is AUS8 @ .125" ... Mine is made from CPM154 @ .200" thick. The frame of mine is 6al4v titanium as opposed to the 7075 aluminum of the CS version. My knife will hold AT LEAST 600lbs no prob.
@JohnWayneColt45 I'm having him make me a stainless damascus dressy folder. Blade, bolsters, lockbar, spine, and thumb plate will be made of the same damasteel. Scales will be burl with purple anodized Ti liners.
Not a bad price for the work that went into it. If you look at the price between that and the Cold Steel, you're getting a hell of a lot of hand-done work for a small difference in price.
@FTWCM Size is different too right? Bigger than the medium, smaller than the large? I always did find the gap in size between those two sizes of the Espada a bit too big. Really makes sense to make one that's in the middle.
