@xXIndiraAvelineXx - I built the house in the sims, deleted the house, minimized my game, opened up FRAPS (a video recording software. There are a bunch of them, just google it) then opened up my game again and pressed "undo" a zillion times to make the house look like it was building itself :)
I dont like building In Sims 2 or 3. xD I hate building houses because I always fail >.> Im glad that you can edit everything in Sims 3 though. Now I can finally get those matching windows :3

Question. Does building a house like this, or any large (detailed) construction, put a strain on your computer? FPS wise? Or will my, general purpose (not gaming), laptop be able to run it perfectly fine without the laggy screen.
@Mpntball2012 - My computer can handle TS2 no problems, but if I try *anything* in TS3, the highest FPS rate I can get is 15. I don't have a gaming computer by any means, though :)
not a fan of sims 2 it was a lot harder to build and to be hones it looks really bad graphically. this house looks great tho. now only if sims 3 had all the ep's!
@ShamieWoW Well, The Sims 2 is actually a lot easier to build in, because TS3 screwed over a lot of the tools. Plus of course the graphics aren't as good, this game is from 2004 vs 2009, bet you can't guess which one looks better :P
