  • Thank you so much for this. I am the top sales person at my company, and I feel like lately I have "lost it" a little. I needed to hear this THANK YOU!!

  • You know your stuff, very good.

  • hahaha...nice title! it caught my attention

  • Thanks so much concur you lighted my head your words are really amazing facts

  • Thanks. I concur, I needed to hear this. So easy to forget something so important.

  • AWESOME advise worth a million dollars Thanks you !!

  • Absolutely Robb...there is a level above rapport building...I'd never thought about that.

  • Graeat. Thanks

  • Great information!!!

Listening is the best way to move the business relationship forward. Because not only does it allow them to feel validated, but you can gather the information you need to successfully make the sale.

  • Thanks Buddy, soo good to get a refresher!

  • thank you that was GREAT!

  • This man is absolutely correct. I sell cars and he nailed the problem.

  • A guy once told me that he was looking to buy a new car. Every dealership would bash the other cars - like Ford bashing GM, Toyota, etc. So, he was at a dealership explaining to the sales man that he was trying to decide between cars, and the car he had at the time. The salesman said "those are all good cars, and the one you have is fine as well. BUT, if there was one thing you could change about it, what would it be"? He looked at the salesman and said "that was F-ing brilliant"

  • Very true!! I once was told to remember in sales that we have 2 ears and 1 mouth and we should use them to that ratio... Two thumbs up :)

  • Thank you for the video. :)

    Geno

  • Awesome video, thx :)

  • I find saying..."I completely understand..."when they object to your product as a good way for you to 'bond' with your customer and make them feel like you care/listened too..being friendly and smiling also helps---ALOT

  • I've started listening and my sales have improved huge huge HUGE lol went from writing 4-6 orders every night to 6-9 orders everyday...listening is amazing! it is useful to listen to make them feel important and well heard!

  • Excellent, thought provoking info. Thanks!

  • God bestowed us with two ears and one mouth, use them accordingly!

  • I sale door to door. I only have seconds before they shut the door in my face. How do I keep them from shutting the door? What magic word do I use? I tried please, forgive me, sorry, and even Help Me! If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it.

  • D2D is all about first impressions. i learnt the art of having a sunny smile. No one gets tunred off by a smiling face.

  • be excited about your product!! and smile definetly that, introduce yourself and your product make sure you have your pitch down by practicing in front of the mirror

  • The way to let people think about your product, and to let them accept your talk, is to ask them questions. This way they have to think about your product, this will change them thinking. Instead of: I don't know this, guy get away, they're changing there mind to your product (your question). So ask questions first!

  • what do you think about SPIN?

  • Listening is my biggest weakness; I began typing half way through his advice. What if the person youre selling is a rambler (talker), how do you maintain control?

  • wow, very educational video! thanks

  • What you said was good.if you were closeing houses but for people who have to close fast and dont have time to listen to a customers for hrs .some of us have to find away in with out being rude and sell .every min in sales is a sale lost .

  • very good !!! you very very correct it s realy help me a lot,,,,, i realy lost with word what to say to you then say thank you !!!

  • good stuff!!

    thanks...

  • Very good advice. love it

  • Great tips!

  • so true.

  • A lot of what he says is accurate. I'm a roofing contractor out in Miami FL, and what's brining me good success is my attitude towards what I do. If your in a sales business and you don't feel like yourself, move forward. You need to raise questions, and then answer them with another question. keep that in mind.

  • Very Good Thanks!!!

  • This one is very true. I have tried to coach others on my sales force regarding this but had difficulty putting it into words.

  • I wonder if this could be applied to the online realationships?

How to listen the online prospects?
