  • Now ya know where you want to work, just need the equipment to mine it, crush it up and recover valuables, good one

  • Great work! Well worth the effort! I did a quick trip to my nearest "goldfield" recently after work...drove for 1 hour then walked through thick bushes and spiderwebs for half an hour, dug out a bucket of promising looking clay, ran out of daylight, walked back through the bush and got back to my car only to meet a massive guy covered in tattoos and only one eye. Drove home (removing a huge leech from my leg along the way), and then had not a single scrap of gold! Was fun though...

  • @Clarkusindarkus1985 LOL Sounds like a fun day in the wilderness even if there wasn't any heavy yellow prize at the end. Keep hunting and don't give up. Gold is all over out there just waiting to be found.

  • I panned that tray 3 times and kept getting gold out of it by the way. I missed a lot in that first quick pan. ^.^

  • cool, What part of the feather did you go to? I will have to look for that coglamerate rocks. I live in Butte Co.

  • @jessgo33 The claim owner called it the East Branch? Was right off 70 east of Cariboo Rd. About 20 miles from Quincy. The Cariboo club has a lot of nice claims in the area. I'm tempted to join even though they are a bit north of my normal stomping grounds. I've always been interested in old river bed and this stuff made my day. Thanks.
