@ninamor1982 The government is democratic with no military since 1948. Government funds are spent on education and health care. Although you can open a business by showing money up front, you cannot work in Costa Rica. There is no welfare system in Costa Rica, like in Canada where welfare and excessive immigration has destroyed the quality of life, and its once famous health care system. Need more information? there's nothing to worry about. the nicaraguan army is doing it to distract the people during the elections in that country.

By the way if the things goes ugly the EE.UU army has to cover our asses.

and is just in the northern borderline so don't panic and don't watch survivor nicaragua. we hate that country as you hate mexico.
