  • Ok,Aew Hey hey hey......aow eek Ka(one more kick)......hey hey.

  • watch?v=bnUl44wnDO0

Oh what is this? Why its an actual video of Anderson Silva training and teaching Taekwondo. Notice how he shifts his upper body back and forth before moving in to attack? Also how he shifts his weight from leg to leg and changes stance every so often. Common techniques taught n Taekwondo and seen when Taekwondo fighters(well I wouldn't consider half of em as fighters) compete. Keiji Ozaki and Chris Barnett all do this in their Kickboxing and MMa fights.

  • How do you Tae Kwon do a steel post thats got gloves on and moves?

anyone? anyone? answer, Just like that. lol

  • i can understand why TKD can be a main fightingstyle when it relies too much on kicks and looks very off balance

  • Tkd spar for points muay thai is more ideal for fighting but then again its all depends on the fighter. I like both styles.

  • Its really funny how people think taekwondo is useless. Anderson silva first got his black belt in taekwondo. His stance looks like he got it from taekwondo. Anyways who says dropping your hands is useless? Silva gets loads of KOs by dropping his hands and simply jabbing

  • this is why tkd comps should allow low kicks

  • @anhisking They do allow low kicks.

  • @hazza3 Really.Wahaha

  • @anhisking They don't allow low kicks because TKD is designed as self defence where MT is designed as sport. A side kick to the knee joint would most likely result in serious injury or even broken legs. TKD does teach low kicks but only in a self defence capacity.

  • @Easyandy100 not trying to be cynical or anything but with that reasoning it makes seem tkd look more like the sport? cos it looks like most tkd fighters arent conditioned enough to be in a real fight?

  • @anhisking How does it make it look like sport if they are using leg breaking techniques? That makes no sense. TKD does emphasise conditioning but don't mistake the sport with the self defence. A real fight is over very quickly. I would say ten seconds is about average. Everything you see such as MT, MMA and boxing are all sports. Self defence techniques are designed to ends things as quick as possible. Look at Krav Maga training that is purely self defence. They get things over very quickly.

  • TKD suck the only thing is good for air kicks and high kicks . the only reason some MMA fighter use it cause it might come handy that's it..just like tony jaa know tkd for making movie which it would work in a real fight. which i rather take wushu.

  • @hotpopcorncake A common misconception. TKD is a fully comprehensiv self defence system that includes everything from kicks (low as well) to punches to grappling. If you think TKD only high kicks then you don't know about it. MMA is just another sport, not the ultimate fighting system by any means.

  • wht the hell? HEEYY HEYY -_-

  • Im Go with muay thai !

  • its not the art, is the artist

  • why doesnt the tkd guy punches?

  • @123azfiq Because he is WTF TKD. They rarely teach punches in a sparring situation. ITF however does. But this is sparring as a sport if the TKD guy used everything he had learned for self defence then it would be over pretty quickly. Muay Thai is a great sport. TKD is a self defence system.

  • @Easyandy100 im actually a black belt in wtf taekwondo. i ask my master why we dont throw punches. he said well get hurt. i said bullshit. i train my punches at home, punching a tree or something. currently im training muay thai. people may say that muay thai is scary but if you train muay thai AND enjoy it (of the record, i enjoy it), you are a freaking man!

  • @123azfiq With all respect I would have left that scholl. I was trained at one of Mater Rhee Ki Ha schools and it was great! I like Muay Thai and that is tough but it is still a sport. TKD is self defence system it just takes a long time to learn it all.

  • @Easyandy100 no harm done. everybody has their personal opinion. u seem like a nice guy. martial arts is a way of life, not a way of war. peace and love =)

  • @123azfiq Absolutely. Have a good one!

  • @Easyandy100 you too...

  • HEYY!!

  • Tae Kwon Do is Hobgoblin.

  • and he didn't even fight with thai muaythai fighter :P

  • @rangwood Thats because Chai and Thaibettas are well known trolls around here and you came off as a troll aswell because you DON'T learn and just act stupid like Chai saying BWAHAHAHA thanks and Thaibettas just rambling and stalking people 24/7, LITERALLY 24/7.

    I've met hazza3, he's not a Taekwondo instructor, he's a Muay Thai instructor.

  • @Rikashiku We met?

  • @hazza3 At Complete Strength in Brisbane.

  • @hazza3 This is kinda funny...

  • @Sevv9220 Thats nice?

  • @hazza3 Sorry, I just found it funny.

    I know that guy.

    We met?

  • @Sevv9220 Jenny... As in Flight of the Concords, similar situation and it ends in a hilarious way.

  • The Sport of MMA is just that, a Sport and it doesn't represent for all Combat Sports. Hell, Boxing is better to watch than MMA.

Muay Thai isn't even trained in many MMA gyms because most MMA fighters only learn Kickboxing.

btw, Anderson Silva is also known for his extensive Taekwondo training which he uses a LOT.

  • @hazza3 your an arsehole..

  • @sirdan180 Its, you're an asshole. Dumbass.

  • @hazza3 your fat

  • @hazza3 Yeah? and YOUR fat.

  • @hazza3 visit wiki and search Anderson Silva and read you dump fuck it said Muaythai not TKD you fuck up fanboy

  • @krispongcd37 watch?v=soOXgmvIdAI in your face fangirl now you shut the fuck up you inbred prick.

Anderson Silva practiced Chute Boxe, which also happens to teach Taekwondo. What does his wiki say? Oh right, Taekwondo ALSO. Thats why its called MIXED MARTIAL ARTS, not, "Choose one or the other".

  • @hazza3 "Although known primarily for his mastery of Muay Thai striking, Silva is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu blackbelt, a rank he earned in 2006 from Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira" [From Wikipedia]. Silva is only champ who knew TKD and he learn it when he was a kid [like u] Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Wrestling is the main skill for mma fighter sorry your skill is weak but it true

  • @hazza3 watch?v=18wA0uG0VI0 in your face fangirl now you shut the fuck up you inbred prick.

  • @krispongcd37 ...A fan video made and titled by a fan... Wow, that so totally beats the video where Anderson Silva himself states he practices Taekwondo lmfao.

Wait, what makes you think I practice Taekwondo?

  • Its not the sport, its the practitioner that makes the difference

  • THIS IS TKD DEPORTIVE STYLE THE ITF STYLE IS 20 OR MORE TIMES BETTER, IF THE GUY OF TKD TRAIN THE ORIGINAL STYLE OF TKD HE CAN FIGHT REALLY GOOD

  • no matter how skilled the taekwondo fighter is, he will always get his ass whopped by the worst muay thai fighter.

  • the problem is ... traditional tkd isn't used in many competitions so competition tkd style is more than likely to prove less effective -kick, kick, kick, kick, kick- >.> just my opinion ... i could be wrong lol plus it depends on the fighter :P -generic martials video comment-

  • นักมวยคนนี้เข้าท่าถ้ามีศอกและเข่าด้วยคงเก่งน่าดู

  • tae kwon do lost because that guy suck not because muay thai is better than tae kwon do

  • @browneyedS TKD lost because he train to make score not KO.Their technique is weak.bouncing is not a good idea when kicks are involve. They don't us toe hip shoulder rotation.so kicks are weaks.and They don't how to use their hand to ko just for balance only

  • @chai5552000 i dun understand people who compares muay thai and taekwondo

but the fact is more skilled fighter wins no matter what they learned

  • @browneyedS Ignore Chai, he's an idiot.

  • @hazza3 Ignore me for what!!.Do you want to know which style is beautiful and fancy that good for kid women and the oldman and get kicked on the ass?.Bahaha

  • @hazza3 Boohoo,Big shot.Did you come back from restuarant.Hope you win to equal your right.

  • put your hand up kid.

  • 555 มวยไทย สุดยอดที่สุดในโลก

  • This is so funny anyone who insist 'much depends on the FIGHTER' cannot show us proof. On the other hand, anyone who insist 'much depends on the STYLE' can answer reasons/proof clearly.

    Proof:

We have never seen TKD or street fighter won the K1 champ. That is, FIGHTER can't cover up the inferiority of the TKD STYLE.

One example, it is apparent there is knee superiority in close ( watch?v=6o_Rt-UWjoI ).

    Champ(TKD STYLE) lost to K1 beginner(Karate STYLE) ( watch?v=EvAF6vQQYGg )

  • @Hawaii0407

Are you trying to say that all MT fighters can beat every TKD fighters? I agree that MT or K1 brings more technique and applications than TKD but a well placed kick at the right moment and right place when the other fighter not expecting it can always do the job.

  • @ehiso Hey,why attack me? I said ppl have to say proof together.

Let me answer a little. Whitebelts hardly win to Blackbelts because of mastering level of STYLE. Let you compare your whitebelt days with your blackbelt days.

According to your claim, much depend on FIGHTER, tell me why ALL TKD STYLE Champ easily lost to other STYLES. Moreover, Perry Ubeda the MT fighter won the TKD champ. But I have never heard TKD fighter won on MT. Resulting my claim, MT STYLE >> TKD STYLE.

  • @Hawaii0407

Hey men, so sorry if you feel that way but i'm not attacking you at all. I'm just giving my opinions.

There are more than enough proof of TKD guys beating up MT or KB fighters. The proof is right here on youtube men.Just check it out apart from only this one video. If i want to go to war, MT,KB of MMA will always be my best pick because they use more fighting techniques but that is not to say that all fighters under this three disciplines can beat all fighters in TKD. Come on men!!

  • @ehiso You are just misleading and barking up the wrong tree.

Let me repeat, that was because of different mastering level of STYLE, not FIGHTER. We never call 1 day visitor as 'STYLE'. Then, we usually compare MA champions at K1. So, I wrote K1 proof in my 1st post. If you love comparison between noob, I have no word for you anymore.

Besides, you cannot answer my questions nor deny my proof at all. Don't reply to me as long as you are talking a monologue. It's waste of time. bye.

  • @Hawaii0407

You are the one misleading yourself. If you had taken the time to watch some of these fighting styles against eachother in big tournaments on this very youtube, maybe you would not sound so empty and naive.

  • @ehiso hahaha. Monologue again. bye

  • @ehiso haha you're kidding:P,TKD can't beat on many sport . taekwondo is better for show solo that entertain by smash brick ,high kick only. Don't compared others sport. cuz taekwondo have not quality enough.

  • This is so funny how people could judge which of this two sports is beter when the techniques are very different and MT uses clinches ,elbows and more variations than taekwando. But still it's a fight and much depends on the fighter, anyone no matter what fighting discipline they practise can be taken out by another fighter of a different discipline.

  • MT :Attack after step/guard/cut combination easily.

TKD:Always stepping backward. No basis of combination. Poor.

  • @Hawaii0407 I unfortunately have to agree with you here. The tkd user sucked. Tkd´s strong points is fast, accurate, strong kicks. Plus, the first thing tkd user learns is also how to combine kicks. But this guy had non. That is what is wrong with martial arts that have ranking in colour. They look on techniques when grading. Not how good you are in a fight. It´s not only tkd who has this as a problem. Karate and kung fu too. This guy doesn´t deserve red. It´s a fucking disgrace.

  • @Southpaw4warrior MT fighters also become stronger than this. for example grabbing, knees, elbows or punches. Resulting the same answer as this footage.

  • Good Fight but MT People have bad footwork

  • @ham123321 What's so bad about it then? He was doing pretty good pressure fighting, and from a TKD practitioner, in principle you won't have to worry about blocking lowkicks. He switched sides easily too... I honestly wonder how you can call this bad footwork.

  • tae kwon do has nothing on muay thai. there is way more power behind muay thai kicks

  • All Dislike from Korean !!

  • TKD = fancy kick dance with no power, bad balance.

MT = powerfull kick and punch with nice center of balance.

  • MUAY THAI IS THE BEST

  • TKD is going home for an ICE bath, boys gonna be in pain when he gets home..lol

    NO technique, crap fight.

  • Muay Thai is the best

i don't like fake VDO clip.

  • Shows the flaws of TKD, guy has no idea how to deal with someone attacking his base (leg attacks), high kicks of TKD are fine for show but not much use in practical situations or non TKD rule matches.

  • These set up fights are hilarious. TKD fighter is not even a third class fighter in taekwondo and the muay thai guy is obviously on steroids.

Now compare that sad TKD fighter with one of these guys and you'll get what I'm talking about.

    watch?v=H48XGX0L5DI

    That is all.

  • I'm Thai and i love Muay Thai but this TKD guy is suck, and the other not so good

  • muay thai I Love You...

  • Please stand apart from me! Don't move! Don't use hands! It's not fair! lolololol

  • Hey, hey, hey,... ... YAY!!! YAY!!!!!!

  • No doubt that Muay Thai is better as a fighting style, but anyway, this fight was a total mismatch, the TKD guy seems unexperienced from his technique to his attitude, and the Muay thai guy is more confident and skilled by far. Not a chance for the TKD kid. I'll like to see some fight from the TKD world champ vs a Lumpinee Champ. That will be at least a somehow "even" fight, and a fun to watch massacre.

  • the TKD man don't know how to use his hands

  • I Love you Muay Thai!!!

  • Muay Thai is much more lethal...

  • Eh... White people

  • todo depende de la experiencia de cada luchador.

  • ยางแตก !!

  • This guy must be wtf taekwondo cuz he aint doing no hand stuff... i do taekwondo and kick boxing so i have good feet and good hands i do our organization is like a mix of itf and ata and other stuff cuz our instructor has done lots of martial arts

  • ALL ARTS ARE GOOD, BUT HOW MANY TRAIN FOR REAL? I MEAN FOR LIFE AND DEATH? BRUCE LEE AND THE REAL BEST OF THE BEST TRAINED IN ANYTHING THEY COULD. I HAVE NEVER FOUGHT FOR SPORTY.IT IS AN ART OF WAR, NOT A SPORT. ITS IGNORANT TO MAKE PLAY OUT OF WAR. I FOUGHT TO THE DEATH IN THE STREETS OF CHICAGO. WHEN DEATH IS THERE FEARS DIFFERENT. WHY DO U FOOLS ARGUE ABOUT STYLE? TRAIN IN ANYTHING YOU CAN .I STARTED AT AGE 5, I AM 46 NOW. I AM SAD I KILLED. BUT I HAD NO CHOICE. THIS IS NOT A CHILDS SPORT!!

  • ALL ARTAS ARE GOD, BUT HOW MANY TRAIN FOR REAL? I MEAN FOR LIFE AND DEQATH? BRUCE LEE AND THE REAL BEST OF TYHE BEST TRAINED IN ANYTHING THEY COULD. • my you are all mistaken what insolent fools i wont waste my time to talk to you overconfident pieces of shit about the truth of ALL martial arts because you are all such asses

  • Comment removed

  • @jpd782 the guy in the shorts is the Muay Thai fighter. At around 00:26 you can see tkd on the back of the guy wearing the gi.

  • Once again Tae Kwon Do wins. Wait...The TKD fighter was wearing the shorts? Right???

  • @jpd782 Hahaha,What a wonderful world.you're damn right............Shorts win pajamas

  • is TKD all about kicks?

  • @DJ53151 Tae = fist. Kwon = kicks Do = way The way of punching and kicking.

  • @DJ53151 it focuses greatly on kicks, just type tkd and the majority of things u see will be kicks and back hands from time to time

  • @DJ53151 They hold a strong emphasis on kicks. In WTF and ATA they only teach kicks but other styles teach the full Taekwondo which involves punches, kicks, and grappling.

  • Don't be cruel to the The Killedguy Dude.

  • you really cant compare arts you have to compare the fighters this TKD fighter was pitiful, he was terrified and that was probably his first match i mean he turned around to run away TKD isnt just kicking its a balance of everything ,grappling punching and kicking i mean the rookie was flailing around and everything i am forced to practice perfect defence while kicking

  • To Everyone,

There is an interesting action movie that many people will want to see.

    Moviepart1

    watch?v=OqyWT28S-E8

    the rest is on youtube

    Copy, Paste, Enjoy.

  • i like the part where they say HEYYYY

  • timing means everything... that Tae Kwon Do fighter was a fighter with no spirit. written by a true Tae Kwon Do black belt

  • taekwondo is bullshit!!!

  • In order to beat a muy thai fighter using tkd you must prepare yourself, especially your stance, those leg kicks leave tkd very vunerable. also muay thai fighters are very disciplined and strong

  • @Meshikamadness No way, only Muay thai style can beat Muay thai fighter.

  • @chai5552000 Not at all. A jiu jitsu fighter can be a big problem to a muay thai fighter when the fight go to the ground.

  • @jdperini yeah,That is the weakness of Muay thai .please go to see Somdet or somdett mma thai fighter.what he can do before he have to fight on the ground.

  • @chai5552000 rambaa somdet mma

  • @chai5552000 lol that;s fair, man them fighters are bad ass for sure

  • muay thai???? jajaja is kickboxing

  • @pedrojsl852 kickboxing is 2 limbs from 8 limbs of Muay thai.founded in 1993

  • @chai5552000 4 actually

  • Bren Foster has over 25 years of training in the martial arts. His first full contact kickboxing match was at the age of 12. At the age of 14 Bren Began his Muay Thai Training in Australia attending a seminar under Ajarn Chai Sirisute. Bren Continued his Training in Australia with World Champion training partner Jason Edwards and Muay Thai Trainer Paul Grima.for your convenion.wahaha

  • watch?v=K8htFL535pA

  • TKD has fast but weak kicks Muay thai on the other hand can be slow or medium but bring devastating pain!

  • @NERFdoom yeah, you'r right. That is why Muay thai have to conditions legs and body.Did they called counter brutal hard kicks with body pivot.Yeah, that would be break legs ribs head.

  • bouncing isnt a good idea when kicks are involved, a low kick to the legs of someone whos bouncing around like a TKD will put them on there ass(Bam of the ground) Muay thai stand square on because if you stand side on your get kicked to the leg.

if you just come forward against a thai boxer a front kick will throw you across the ring so you come in moving around not bouncing to land a kick knee elbow or punch and if your not in the mood for a clinch knee but we do move you muppet

  • TKD guys is a good moving bag to train Thai low kick to the legs.

  • Muay Thai is probably the dumbest and most effective form of fighting there is, and mixes well with Kung Fu. The Muay Thai kick is a very simple and effective, especially if it is done on the inner thigh.

  • Ok,Aew,hey hey and 0:27 " aew eek kha " means "One more times"and hey hey hey.

  • Yeah right they are in the same weight class.

  • jaja pinche madriza ... :P ja,

  • this guy is making tae kwon do feel bad i swear lol

  • superb ..muay thai

  • every kick sounded like he was going to break that TKD fighters legs... i've never seen such weak kicks im so glad i quit TKD i knew it was bullshit

  • @monkey298 it's how you train with either martial art, not the martial art itself. tkd is not bullshit, it's actually very effective and has very fast and powerful dynamic kicks.

  • @FootToTheFace no no no.TKD sucks.this video sucks.you suck... look up any TKD vs ANYTHING they lose everytime. Also, their kicks are slower than a snail going through sap in the middle of an Alaskan Winter.

  • @FootToTheFace the hardest kick in the world was showed on youtube " Sport Science Hardest Kick " by Mel manor Muay thai fighter.Muay thai kicks is practical easy to use rotation foot hip shoulder to make force more than TKD kick and ready to use every second.no need to bouncing or jumping and low your hand to stabilize..

  • @chai5552000 but that's the fighter, not the style that has the hardest kick. and there are more TKD kicks that can be "ready at every second" and come from different spots. muay thai is much more predictable. also you don't need to be "bouncing or jumping" to do TKD kicks, only for jumping kicks, what you're referring to is keeping on the balls of your feet for more power. watch bren foster.

  • @FootToTheFace Muay thai kicks is open foot ratate hip and shoulder.use body pivot.that is the way to make hardest kicks.yes you can ready at every second if you r not boucing.but TKD is a form of bouncing to make it speedy.and have to lower your hand to stabilize.if you put your hand up it's not TKD. Bren Foster and Anderson Silva were lost to train TKD when he was a kid like you.Now both of them have been trained Muay thai already.search it up.hope that answer your question.

  • @chai5552000 TKD kicks rotate your standing foot all the way to where your heel is pointing your target, giving you more torque, there for being more powerful. you don't have to lower your hand to stabilize either, and just keeping your hand up doesn't make it not TKD. i was only bringing up Bren Foster as a testament to TKD's powerful techniques. anyway, thanks for atleast discussing this with me instead of angrily arguing like these other douches.

  • @FootToTheFace No,problem you're welcome.thanks for your words.hahaha i found Bren foster train Muay thai like Anderson Silva at 14 yearolds.Yeah, you can adopted your TKD like Kyokushin Karate incorporates many elements of combat sports like boxing, Muay Thai and kickboxing in kumite. That can beat Muay thai.there is no pure fighting style.you can adopted all martial art to make it the best fighting style of your own.Sorry about my English.

  • @chai5552000 haha, yeah exactly, that's what i'm saying. nah, your english is good, especially typing. :)

  • @FootToTheFace i think your guys' conversation is probably the first disagreement in youtube history where you werent arguing and being stupid idiots. so i gotta give it to you guys for being cool.

  • @rookieguitarguy haha, i know right. i was surprised too.

  • weel in a fight tae kwon do better in point tournaments tae kwon do but it also is the fighter i like muay thai better though

  • hola yo entreno box y llegue a una conclusion no importa lo practiques lo que importa es el mono. jajaja

  • i did both tae kwon do and muay thai i like muay thai way better

  • Did someone cancel his own comment .No problem i can reply you.IF You need to train an selfdefence. You can train by yourself by fighting like a girl that are very angry.do everything bite,scratch,..break arms, gouge eyes, nut smashing, break legs, neck, wrist and some throws.............Hope that help

  • SON DOS DEPORTES MUY BELLOS PERO CREO QUE NO TIENEN EL MISMO NIVEL AHI UNO Q TIENE MAS EXPERIENCIA POR Q NO CREO Q HAYA TANTA VENTAJA COMO SE DEMUESTRA EN STE VIDEO
