  • Bloody brilliant mate.. well done

  • this is actually the song that made me want to learn how to play guitar. great playing of it.

i really should get around to learning it finally.

  • i like the lil` add ons keep at it and u will have a whole new song. Thanx 4 keeping the song alive......

  • keep practicing-you might get close one day.

  • and ddddddddddddddddd heheh im wasted

  • thats hilarious. if ur wasted why the fuk r u making stupid comments.

  • surely that the best time to make stupid comments....conyo!!

  • yeah alright you win!

  • cool all in ccccccccccccccccccc

  • I love how you put your on little touch on it.

  • great playing but not the right picking...

  • that geetars got some character :)

    lovely playin .

  • open C6 tuning

  • art and lutherie ROX

  • Brilliant

  • this song was recorded with alot of mistakes that jimmy page wanted to be left on there. he wasnt a sloppy acoustic player at all

  • A beautiful performance!

  • Stunning rendition bukbukater. Is there a video of the original around?

  • It's a hard piece to play accurately, and I think Jimmy used an echo effect, so it's hard to get that ringing sound with just an unamplified acoustic. Good job!

  • I didnt think of echo sometimes when I play this song I use phaser or flanger and a chorus pedal. Just make sure you dont turn the phaser\ flanger up to high or it wont sound acoustic.

  • IT WAS A REVERSE UNIT

the song is played with a reverse overdub

  • bukbukater, did u use open tuning? i'm pretty sure page did, don't know which one. but that is where the sound is, in the drone of the open strings.still a nice rendition, thanks 4 sharing

  • hi blewsboy, i did use the same tuning... it sounds different for various reasons. i don't hit the low e string as often as page, and basically i played it as an interpretation of the song... trying to get that mood and vibe. don't really see the point of playing it note for note. thanks for your comment though.

  • ty, great sounding guitar btw, peace

  • cool guitar...what kind is it?

  • thumbs up my friend, that was beautiful, if there was no video i would have thought it was jimmy himself playing

  • lol, better than page, give this guy his due, with some slight tweaks etc, he might, one day play it the way it is supposed to, but better than JP.....

  • That was almost scary. Your hand looks like Pagey's.

  • VERY NICE

  • Hey that was great! The sound quality is very good and your interpretation is just fine with me :) Thanks!

  • very slow

  • Awesome i love this =)

  • Excellent!, also my favorite Page acoustic piece.

  • I found your version sounded different. in a good way. it's a good idea to just listen to a song and make your own interpretation.

  • Nice ! Tnx !

  • çok güzel..

    başarılı.

  • Only J. Page can play this song. The others version will never be the same. ;)

    compliments

  • nice job kid....don't pay attention to the pathetic losers that r hatin man...the only thing they play is the skin flute....oooooya like to see that allstatewayne

  • cool but some places have to much hesitation...where's jimmy page to shwo you how its done...

  • Your playing sounded fine and it's a great piece, but 2 minutes of a soundhole and barely moving knuckles does not an interesting video make! You should film from further away to include your fretting hand as well.

  • Amazing stuff man! Nice and earthy, loads of soul. Don't listen to half of these losers with negative comments. They obviously no nothing about the real spirit of music. They will probably go through life being constantly negative because deep down they know they are just a waste of space in this already over crowded world of ours (which unfortunately we have to share with these fuckers ...)

  • I agree some people do not understand the heart and soul of music and sometimes you make the music your own

  • DO U TUNE UP OR DOWN FOR THE TUNING

  • What is this? I go to youtube to see Led Zeppelin video's and I'm forced to weed through these cover song losers. YOU ARE NOT JIMMY PAGE!! Be original.

  • ever notice that ALL the people who dis people's videos have NO videos to offer themselves?

i think that says it all

great work on the song, i think in the morning i will finally learn it, it's been a favortie of mine for 20 years now but i've been too caught up in my own music to learn covers, this one is worth knowing

  • lovely!

  • I love that song very good and very inspiring thanks man!!!!

  • awesome, this has just inspired me to dig out my zep songbook and learn it myself

  • Wonderful.

  • It sounds different, but it still sounds very good.

  • no offense or anything, but how do we know that you're the one who is playing, we can't see your other hand. You could be puuling an Ashlee Simpson on us.

  • Absolutely excellent. Very very well done m8. Can I ask how long you've been playing and have you taken lessons before? Thx,

    ~Sno0ze

  • hi schnoozle,

thanks for he comment, i have been playing since i was about 16

without lessons, for better or worse. thanks , d

  • this song is beautiful :D great job

  • beautiful mate

  • Very nicely done! Brings back lots of memories!

  • preety good ..but not the same tuning as Page .."Page Played on a low dropped C.."

  • thanks maxhardrive64. yes it is circa late 2005. seriously though

it's a cheap art and lutherie (godin) made in canada, nice for the money

but with an unfinished top it wears very quickly with a pick.

regarding 10 years gone , i must learn it first. soon.

  • Man! Fantastic Dude. What a pleasure listening to that guitar too. Sweet tone! I can tell its vintage from the wear on it Can we make requests? Id love to hear you do '10 years gone'

  • You played that real good.I love the song aswell. You used the same tuning as Jimmy, right?

  • jimmy was in there, but a lot of that was all you.... very nice interpretation ... bravo! (would love to see the left hand version)

  • some fine playin
