  • Penny was the best .. I remember watchin him back in the days his every movement was poetry...even when he was just runnin he was poetry in motion...

  • @jordaneperez Halftime

  • What Nas song was that

  • My fav player of all time. He could become Nba legend but his damm knee...

Funny thing that I also have knee problems so I like him even more. Penny forever!

  • when Penny wore his Orlando jersey, he had his last name on his back and first name on the front

  • One the best players to play in the nba ever it really hurt me to watch this because he was so good the boy was a beast,he could shoot, drive, dunk, pass, and played "D".But to see him always hurt and never get a ring it leaves me to wonder how much more of a player he could have been.Oh one more thing he had one of the best Nike basketball shoe line of all time

  • Watching him dunk just turns me on!!! Best player...Penny Hardaway. I was gonna marry him!

  • Hardaway was a more complete player than Jordan. Not better, just more complete..

  • t mac plays the same way style wise lol i love it

  • What's up with the clip at 2:30? Is Shaq angry or glad that he just pulled off an impressive dunk?

  • Penny Hardaway: The Anti-Jordan!

  • 2:26 Jordan goes for burek :D

  • good song choice

  • Lol funny how history repeats itself. Back then magic's big duo was the center Shaq, and the shooting guard Penny, now it's the center Dwight, and Shooting guard Carter, btw all 4 are amazing dunkers

  • @abulkhair77 Penny was a much better player than Carter...

  • alot of the shit in this video is miraculous. kobe, lebron, and even mj couldn't do it like penny did

  • 666

  • @stacy92272 hey why you put that asshole!!!

  • Could have been one of the best ever... him and Grant Hill got the short end.

  • watching these clips made me proud to see him have played in the league seeing him playing in memphis state and sad that his career went like it did

  • the pass at 2:01 to 2:04 is unbelievable ive never seen a pass like that in my life

  • nice mix, NaS and Penny

  • real basket oldtime!!!!!

  • penny as magic is unforgettable.. definitely HOF if his injury never happened!

  • right fuck the person who gave you thumbs down.. i agree

  • wat nas song is dis? anybody?

  • halftime...off the illmatic

  • nas and penny = two legends of the 90s

  • its to bad penny didnt stay healthy he would have been one of the greatest players in NBA

  • @SARMSAM same with Grant Hill

  • Penny the best!

  • imagine if penny was still in prime, and in orlando i think the magic would win a championship

  • thats retarded...IMAGINE IF HAKEEM PLAYED IN HIS PRIME, THEY'D WIN EVERYTHING LOL

    see?

  • Have an imagination!

  • u could easily say the same thing for every franchise's G.O.A.T.

it is absolutely pointless and redundant...too many ppl are always saying "wut if kobe played with magic? garnett with larry bird? tracy mcgrady an entire season? (LOL)"

none of those things will happen, and debating it is dumb...and yes, penny hardaway in his prime would be a great player today.

is that wut u wanted to hear?

  • LOL what about Bob Cousy on the Hawks this year!?

  • lil penny will always live on

  • Nas - Halftime, great track

  • i loved penny hardaway back in the day this dude was my favorite player for a long time i remember when they traded him 2 phoenix and i thought jkidd and penny would be the tandem for years but penny got hurt and was never the same which sux cuz this guy was fucking cold

  • I remember thinking to myself(i was like 14yrs old)uh oh is this guy better than Jordan? He was like Kobe but faster than he got hurt, who knows what would have happened. Young kids should also watch Grant Hill highlights, not the same Grant as today LOL

  • I never thought he was better than Jordan, but I agree that he woulda been on Kobe's level.

  • A One of a kind player fo real. He waz T-Mac back in da 90's but with a little bit more skill

  • Noooooooo, Penny was WAYYYYY Better than T-Mac. Smoother, T-mac is a flat footed sloppy baller.

  • Annnnnnnnnnnd T-Mac CANNNOT dish like Penny. No where near!

  • penny in his prime is untouchable. take mj and take off 30 pounds you'll get this hyper version plus some of the most fluid pass motions the league has ever seen. his talent was pure craftiness.

  • uhhh... i'm guessing you never saw alot of jordan or got mad when he walked all over him and his team in his 30s

  • i'm not saying penny is better than jordan - i wouldn't challenge the airness on that. all i'm saying is penny was a variant of jordan that really appealed to a different crowd.

  • In those days, the defense did not know what to expect when he had the ball.

  • I saw comments about his conditioning... its not easy to stay in shape when you have broken bones that won't heal

  • He was unbelievable in his prime, and those orlando teams with Nick Anderson, D Scott, Horace, and Shaq were fun as hell to watch. It's not easy to find someone to compare him too, maybe Lebron with 40lbs less muscle lol, maybe a taller more explosive GP without the defensive intensity, T mac with vison and a little less hops, ok i give up

  • Actually, he had just as much hops as T-Mac, except TMac has more reach. Check out his dunk over Ewing. Check out how he can get the ball to the top of the box before throwing down. Penny was also much quicker than TMac. He was an unbelievable player. However, one thing TMac has over Penny is his tenacity and willingness to shoot. Penny was unselfish to a fault.

  • slashed to the hoop like mj.

    shot the lights out.

    passed like magic.

basketball was at its peak in the 90's. this was back when the best players actually played for the top teams. now you got guys like kobe(who is one of the best scorers ever) whose team can't get past the first round.

  • wow reminds me of back in the day, just imagine if he never got hurt, what an incredible talent

    NaS- Halftime Illmatic EST. 1994

    good old days

  • It was awful to see injuries took away his career. He and Grant Hill gave NBA hope when MJ was swinging baseball bats, they could've been the top 2 players after MJ left in 98.

  • They were the top two players after he left the first time.

  • is nas i think, what's the name of the song?

  • In his prime he was next after mike

    for real

  • I was blessed to have watched Penny play a lot of college games. Don't got get about David Vaugh. He played besided Penny at Memphis. He was a great talent but he blew out his knee against Arkansas. Those were fun days in Memphis. Coach Cal has this team back on track. GO TIGERS!

  • shaqs getting worse and worse anyway but penny was the shitttt wats this song called by the way

  • The Miami Heat signed Penny. Its not a sure thing, but he has a chance to earn a spot on the roster and play with Shaq again!

  • Penny was da shit

  • I saw Penny. At that time I felt he was a worthy MJ adversary. He even took gary Payton's place in the all-nba first team, twice even. He was scary fast, scary quick. Less hate; he's just one of a generation that injuries took away.

  • yall overrrating him -_-

  • not really he was a combo of magic vision, pippen's d and had scoring ability. He was basically a less athletic t-mac but with better vision.

  • penny>tmac

  • by far...

  • man i wish i saw him play in his prime

  • Nike needs to retro more of his shoes!!! I had his shoes from the finals from 1995 the road black ones can't remember the name of them but they had the 1 on the back and not the 1 cent sign either. Then I had the ones from 96 or 97 as well. The black and blue ones with the blue bottoms or whatever.

  • Back when Penny ruled and back when hip hop music was good. Memories.

  • simply the best

  • penny was the shit

  • whoa..why is that the same exact format from EP's mix..

  • Kblaze remixed my video by changing the music and added more stuff at the end

  • I think he and Shaq didn't get along ethier. Just like the same way with Kobe. Still he's a good player, despite the injuries. His career may be over, or its probably been over.

  • Treadwell represent...

  • this music is perfect for penny's style of play. smooth, jazzy, and 90's

  • I was a great fan of Magic when they had Penny, Shaq, Nick, Scott, and Grant... I really hope Penny'll be back.

  • penny was nice in his day. too bad he suffered those injuries.

  • shut up zagy that is old school cause you will never see a player like penny again back when he was good basketball in the 90s was rough and smart now its all about dunking that is old school

  • thats not old school mix,old school is considered to be NBA from 80's or lower when NBA wasnt that comercial.

  • shut up zagy that is old school cause you will never see a player like penny again back when he was good basketball in the 90s was rough and smart now its all about dunking that is old school

  • wow.damn penny

  • NAS and PENNY.

    honestly my 2 favorite people.

    nice job

  • Penny was what Lebron is today

  • Penny was way better

  • Agreed. Penny was better.

  • wow i miss these too

  • expiredpineapples mix remixed by kblaze

  • next magic Johnson accept Penny had the athletic ability of a Jordan and was a better scorer than Magic was.I think he can come back and be a back up point guard and be a 15 point to 17 point scorer.

  • tight! penny was ill back then

  • Tehy'll have good chances in future with Howard!
