I'm familiar with the history of Turkish clothing and Turkish women have always tried to look beautiful and elegant. The "conical" look is a traditional Turkish look, and it's not surprising that the Turkish hijab has taken that direction. Also, these are gorgeous, but it gets hot in Turkey in the summers. Poly/silk scarves like these do not breathe well. Why no yashmaks? Where are the gorgeous cotton scarves edged with oya? Why forget the summers?
Brother elegance is part of Islam. We are supposed to present ourselves as beautiful people so that all other people are awed especially non-muslims. The face,unlike arms,thighs, breasts, buttocks and abdomen is not a sexually enticing feature of the human but serves as a awe-inspiring feature. You will rarely get tempted by a face unless the women starts making sexual expressions e.g. A modest, natural face will in turn feel one with respect for the person and further any lustual feelings.
Thats my view. But ofcourse Allah knows best. Perhaps thats the reason that ISlamic history and tradition has never compelled women to cover their faces. I'm familiar with the history of Turkish clothing and Turkish women have always tried to look beautiful and elegant. The "conical" look is a traditional Turkish look, and it's not surprising that the Turkish hijab has taken that direction. Also, these are gorgeous, but it gets hot in Turkey in the summers. Poly/silk scarves like these do not breathe well. Why no yashmaks? Where are the gorgeous cotton scarves edged with oya? Why forget the summers?

Brother elegance is part of Islam. We are supposed to present ourselves as beautiful people so that all other people are awed especially non-muslims. The face,unlike arms,thighs, breasts, buttocks and abdomen is not a sexually enticing feature of the human but serves as a awe-inspiring feature. You will rarely get tempted by a face unless the women starts making sexual expressions e.g. A modest, natural face will in turn feel one with respect for the person and further any lustual feelings.

Hm kinda funny scarf type! Makes the shape of your head look funny, might work in Turkey but i dnt particularly like the 'style' i think 1:11 is the only style that i liked.

Well as a person Islam was my choice, was my religon, to be a true muslem I have to cover my hair as well as christians If u read bible woman should cover her hair or it will be shaved. And what facts u 'r talking about?? I have to be topless to be modern, being half naked in the beach almost wearing nothing is that what u call freedom? sorry I dont agree with u. why nuns dont dress like that in the church?? no one talk about their Hijab??

Doing what ever you want is freedom.
You wear Hijab because Allah told you.
