Ok Ive driven my an 80 (mine), 84, 2000, and 08 Vette w/ procharger and the only two slower than a 06 Mustang (which I also happen to own) are the 84 and 80 for obvious reasons. Both where built for emission reasons back then and dont have the big block power vettes usually have.

well, i dont know what to tell ya, but you could've beaten 2 automatics and lost to the manual, i know other mustangs use the same auto tranny on the v6, so they need the manual 5 speed which is made specially for them to handle all the power, so the manual once are quicker and it's about the driver. I've seen mustangs beat the 300C, your car can beat the old mustang GT untill 04, but 05 is different. your car is alot heavier than the mustang , and only has a little more HP.

automatic i not always a bad thing, if you have a big engine like the hemi, it's not that bad, if you had the 6.1 that would be even better, but yes a supercharger would make a lot of difference.
yes they're not cheap, if you want power and great sound, you might as well pay more money, save money for it and try to avoid driving your car that much, dont put too many miles on it, or it's gonna cost you more, cause you'll have to rebuild the engine so you can place the blower without destroying the engine

Putting 93 in a stock GT won't yield any benefits accept a lighter wallet. By advancing the timing with a tune you can make more power with 93 octane. In my 06 mustang gt, the tune i got from alternative auto improved the response and power

your car doesnt do 1.0g on the skid pad, it doesn't have one of the best times at nurburgring, your car doesnt get to 60 in 3.9 and it doesn't run 11.9 in the quarter mile. there is no way a 300c can even stand up with the 05 on up mustangs maybe the 04 you mite stand a chance your 300c is to damm heavy and your a 4door yes the srt8 will beat the gt but it has 125hp more and tour crappy ass fake hemi 5.7 has 45 more hp or look at it this way the challenger with the 5.7 come with 370hp and its a 14s car lol while the 07 gt runs stock 13.8s with a auto so now with my superchip programer i ran a 13.4 so please dodge and chrysler sucks srt challenger runs 13.5s hahaha

The Mustang GT with the 4.6 SOHC and 300HP does 0-60 in 4.9 to 5.3 secs.

well, i dont know what to tell ya, but you could've beaten 2 automatics and lost to the manual, i know other mustangs use the same auto tranny on the v6, so they need the manual 5 speed which is made specially for them to handle all the power, so the manual once are quicker and it's about the driver. I've seen mustangs beat the 300C, your car can beat the old mustang GT untill 04, but 05 is different. your car is alot heavier than the mustang , and only has a little more HP.

i beat the 05 GT, as you say they could have been auto but so is my car...so if i lost to a manual GT then wouldnt the 300C also be even faster if it had a manual gearbox? my car is completely stock too...

yes it would, alot of HP is wasted on the automatic tranny parts, and plus, on the manual, you can keep your RPMs higher and keep the car going quicker, but i dont know man, i never thought the 300C would beat the new mustang GT, maybe you did. that's what i hate about the 300 and the charger, they only come automatic for some strange stupid reason, not sure what dodge is thinking. but you didn't beat the mustang by much did you ?

i only beat the mustang by like a car length both times...and yes i agree they should have made the 300C and charger manual as well...even if they are sedans technically the hemi would feel even stronger from a manual transmission...well i'm probably gonna throw in a supercharger soon to make up for it being auto

automatic i not always a bad thing, if you have a big engine like the hemi, it's not that bad, if you had the 6.1 that would be even better, but yes a supercharger would make a lot of difference.

yes they're not cheap, if you want power and great sound, you might as well pay more money, save money for it and try to avoid driving your car that much, dont put too many miles on it, or it's gonna cost you more, cause you'll have to rebuild the engine so you can place the blower without destroying the engine

I don't know man all you are really doing is changing the shift points, giving it a few more RPM's before shifting. Put it on a dyno do a run on auto then one on auto stick and I bet it is less than 2-5whp if that. I'm not being a jerk just being realistic.
