@Kinziik Well it takes time ;-) I started more than 15 years ago experimenting with 3D Studio, some acient video capture card from Fast Multimedia in a Pentium with 100Mhz and some analog equipment. And then I tried and failed and tried and failed and so on.

@Kinziik nothings impossible I mastered Maya in a year, well thats purely because my motivation and eager to learn and never afraid to jump into a new thing, when your to comfortable with something move out of the box, make another area you can be comfortable with, always expand it. The animation on my profile was done in my early stages, know I can do better. never give up, aslong as you have the motivation and eagerness to learn you can reach that level in 1 year

@Kinziik you have a PC now dont you? I did that animation on a crappy PC AMD Athlon, 256MB graphic card, 4GB ram. Not the greatest ehh? Remember aslong as the software can run on a PC, no PC is crap. ofcourse if you want to got a super PC like I did, which I built 2 months ago, its a beast custom made by me with the help of a friend. Right now your not comfortbal, download Maya Student edition get used to it. Once you have mastered it, move onto 3Ds Max, Zbrush and what not

@MrHairybuffalo I'm not sure the copilot tuts were available back then ... the showreel is from 2006 and I think I did the earth part in the mid of 2005 ;-)

it is stop-motion animation. look for the making of of "fast film", it's the same technique.

it was made using the same technique we used when making "fast film" (?v=Td6UObEEaQQ). for every frame we printed out a newspaper. the whole spot is 40 sec., so there were 1000 frames to animate. we were three people and did it in about three weeks.
