I agree with the politics of neither, but if you can't tell the difference between someone who is honest (Ron Paul), perhaps to a fault, about his views and this guy, a folksy fraudster clearly bought and paid for by the business interests he represents, then you need to start worrying about your political judgement.

A flat tax IS the only fair tax. IF everyone pays say 15 or 20 percent, whatever the dolts in washington decide to confiscate, then a person making 10000 a year pays 15% a person who makes 10000000 pays 15%. That is the only fair tax.

He's been working with economy politics for years as a congressman, and he's even taken a great time to learn about the austrian school of economics and sees economy in every policy desition he makes. It's a well established (though long-taboo) fact that there is a direct connection between European Fascism and and the political philosophy of the American left. Fascism, after all, was a form of socialism, and it was "right wing" only in the sense that it was right-wing socialism.
And socialism in all its forms stands in direct opposition to the founding principles of the U.S.: individual liberty, free enterprise, and limited government power.

A system of beliefs; respect for rule of law, a constitution establishing rights of people and limiting the power of government and a chance to make our own way in a free market give us the chance to live happy lives. Why wouldn't we like to spread that legacy to the world? Why would we let evil forces take it away from us? It's not fascism to want good.

They well explain their reasons. Now more are beginning to realize we need Fred Thompson to help lead our dear country in the right direction. I have supported Fred, who I met over 25 years ago when he was helping Marie R, since before he announced and I will continue until he is elected our next President.

I think Fred Thompson Is a great American and I wish we had more people like him at the Capital, but Mike Huckabee is the right person for the job of President right now and I really think that the FairTax is the only way to save our social security/economy and our country. The Flat Tax is a no go, we Americans want REAL change, that's why Huckabee's doing so well, we've read the Fairtax book, the grassroots have responded well, it's you and the media who have filled the void of pessimism.

A flat tax IS the only fair tax. IF everyone pays say 15 or 20 percent, whatever the dolts in washington decide to confiscate, then a person making 10000 a year pays 15% a person who makes 10000000 pays 15%. That is the only fair tax.
