Well some times i find myself thinking that i cant leave a legacy due to the fact that i was a foster kid adopted by a new family raped and didnt tell till a year later. But this song makes me think that just by doing the right thing i may be able to do just that. I may not leave a big on but. Its what i leafve behind when i go to haven that counts. So thanks this song helped me on a dark day whem i needed. I can do all things through christ who strngthens me Philippians 4 v13

She started a charity, Charlene's Project and raised £120,000 during her period on the transplant list to build a school in Uganda, Hidden Treasure. My daughter gives her gift at the end of the year to a pastor with Orphans in Uganda...so I am so proud of your daughter too...leaving such a legacy when she could have only thought about herself!! She certainly left a legacy!!!...and I know know that Father gives double for our troubles...and that they see more clearly in heaven than we do...all the good her precious life has and will do!! @dickiebarr1 Also...there was a small documentary the other day on tv...it was about the cast system in southern India...about some some people are still considered the untouchables...there was a little family the dad was a 'rat catcher' considered 'unclean' ...but he was a lovely man...so you could see how terrible prejudice is...and his little 10 or 11 year old daughter was going off to a little school (a roof on posts with benches) AND he was hoping for more for her! And she was SO BEAUTIFUL!

This song reminds me of my cousin Alicia. She was 17, passed away January 3, 2010. Through her struggle she brought countless to God... she touched more peoples lives than she will ever know. I created a group for her on facebook called "I prayed for Alicia". It has a log of her struggle with aplastic anemia.

the closing night at camp my counselor sang this for everyone It brought everyone to tears None of us wanted to leave It was our get away. For me, it was a break with everything I'm dealing with back home. Its so hard to leave the place and people you love so much. The reason i think camp is so important to many kids, is, you can be who ever you want to be, and no one can tell you any different. It's your time. You make better relationships than you have back home sometimes, all in just a week.
i wasn't sure everyone had that experience at camp of making such strong relationships so quickly but i cried when i left camp also i don't think there is ever a dry eye at the end of the last day.

i first heard this song when i was in 7th grade, knew about it from my social studies teacher.

Wow! really? That is so sweet! This song actually reminds me of this guy who went to my church, but he's been in the hospital. I really didn't know him but from what I've heard he's a really special guy. But he's getting better that's a good thing!
