@megvagyimmartizenyol In TBC beta, there was a quest reward dagger in Netherstorm that dealt arcane damage instead of physical. It scaled with Spell Damage, so Mages would hit really hard with it in melee

there was something like this pre-tbc aswell. the zulian slicers nature damage proc (90ish) was effected by spell damage , so on my warlock it would proc for 600-800, usualy in bursts of 3's. so my warlock (SL build) could quite easily melee paladins/warriors in duels and win. twas always fun ^^

Lol yes this was the TBC closed beta, and my crappy gear there was a mix of T2 and original Naxx T3. I had 216 dagger skill at the time, and at parts in the video I had no talent points spent. The dagger did arcane damage rather then just 'damage' All my spell power, trinkets, arcane power etc went against their arcane resistance which no-one ran around with at the time. This lasted about 18 hours, and within 2 hours, rogues were stealing boomkin gear, and doing 1 shot backstabs on plate

i can critt 400+ with my sword.. if you put some attackpower trinkets and rings cloak offhand etc you could maybe critt 6-1000 maybe i don't know.. it's great fun with melee weapons

Actually this is possible but only in MgT. You can spell steal the Seal of Wrath of the pallys in there then you do an extra 1600 per hit with anything (that means a staff or dagger too!)

It was an official test server made by blizzard, they had accidentally let a weapons damage be affected by spell damage, hence when he used "Arcane Power" for 30% more spelldamage, his attacks with that dagger also went up for 30% etc.
