I played ball in Midland and I filmed schools and made highlights for them. Check my videos... I love West Texas football, and El Paso is still West Texas. There are over 20 5A high schools in a city that has 600,000... they represent.

Permian Basin football? One of the reasons they do well is because of all the gerrymandering and UIL violations.  I know because I grew up in Midland. There's not enough community support in El Paso to do that kind of stuff. Anyway, high school football in the only thing worth a flip in that whole crappy area. That place sucks to live in!
