I run a drop pod army and not sure if you know this but the rules state "at the beginning of your first turn, you must choose half of your Drop Pods (rounding up) to make a Drop Pod Assault. I run 5 Drop Pods right now for my 2000 point army. 5 rounding up is 3 so I drop 3 Drop Pods first turn. Your a great player and I was wondering if you could give me some tips on how I could improve my army. I can send you my army list if you'd like :). hope to hear from you Battle Brother !

Question for you Jawa. What happens when they update the codex. We all know that its otw sometime next year. They gave it to marines, then they gave it to spacewolves with the update. So i can't see BA not geting it. But i kinda guess you would have figured this already :/ so what happens if they get it? time for a new list, bye bye 10 droppods lol? i guess because im newer to hobby the idea of geting 10 pods just to shelf them latter is kinda crazy.

im pullin drop pod wolfs now i think, because currently, they have an epic battle force. it has 20 marines a drop pod and special scouts unique to the battle force.

The tenth is the one he won as a tournament prize several months back, that the tournament organizer gave to him to show that "his drop pods work the same as everyone elses." Funny thing is, they don't work the same, they don't have drop pod assault which is explained in this video lol.

i sodding love drop pods, especially when you just drop em down straight in front of their troops and start blazing up everything.

unfortunately i cant benefit from not having drop pod assault as i have to use basic marine setup until gw get off their laurels and make a imperial fists codex.

im crimson fists but their essentially the same except crimson fists are chocabloc with veterans.

1. where did you get those dp`s from?

2. you can put missles inside your drop pod so you drop them long way a way and you have missile launchers per turn firing at them!
