@MrAwesome713 I know this is 5 months after the fact... but maybe someone else has the same issue, Hit F8 before windows loads, just keep tapping F8 untill u get a black screen with options, go into safe mode, pick any, and log into administrator, go to control panel, u can try to change the password on the account, or create a new account, or go to msconfig, services and you should be able to figure it out from there

Now that I can agree with... but POS? I suppose that means "Piece Of Shit" And Vista is not a piece of shit, I can run Vista perfectly on the Dell inspiron Mini 1011 with no errors, or bugs.

And about reinstalling XP... just get Virtual PC, then I can give you a Virtual Hard Drive of an amazing version of XP I made from a default version of XP.

@BOS6940 I apologize for calling Vista a POS. But, I was fooled into purchasing Windows ME when it first came out as well. And from what I have learned from ownership is that ME & Vista is a chip off the old block. Like George Santayana said; "Those cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." I suppose I know where your going with this, yes Vista can be incompatible with some devices & software, but that never happened 2 me, the only problem I got now having Vista as a 2nd OS is Vista hasn't got the driver for my wifi, nor internet cable...

Plus, I haven't seen no problems with ME at all, yeah it's pretty much 2000 but I'm sure it worked perfectly? I haven't used ME since I'm 12, the 1st working OS I had was 98, when that broke, I didn't touch a comp for about 4 years

I've only been using Vista (It came with my PC). I've heard XP was much better than Vista, but I can confirm, from my personal experience that se7en is lightyears faster than Vista.
