Personally, I don't like Cristina playing too much modern pieces like her recent performances. I still prefer her traditional style, like she once did in Nana Das Donicelas.
is that a conventional bagpipe? i dont hear drones. I read that on the bagpipe chanter, C is pitched exactly between B and D, and F is pitched exactly between E and G. Pato's sound does not fit this detail - GREAT PLAYING!
GALICIA-SPAIN don't comment if your comments come from up your butt. GO BACK TO SCHOOL.THIS IS CELTIC MUSIC FROM NORTH SPAIN...OLE TO YOUR MOTHER TOO.
Let me get things clear. what you call a dialect from Galicia, is called Galician (gallego), and it is not a dialect it is a language, actually portuguese comes from galician.
My descendants come from spain. Unfortunetly for me know little history about Spain. Thanks for the clarification. Candal is a common last name in Spain as well as Portugal.
tuve la gran suerte de conocerla en persona y es una excelentísima persona a parte de una fenomenal gaiteira.

Do portuguese agree about the galician origin of their language? Or they just think it's the opposite way?

non That isn`t a Portuguese dialect. it is other language. i'm gallego
Biosbardos 3 years ago 2
Actually, that's a Portuguese dialect: Gallego
I visited that part of Spain in 1999, and saw Cristina Pato play with the Chieftains in Vigo.

Actually, portuguese comes from Galician-Portuguese, a medieval language. Today, the are two diferent languages, even they sound the almost the same.
