tech tagging......tech tagging....really? Just to make you feel bad im going to subscrib to you to get your hopes up.. then crush your dreams and unsubscribe.
That's it, this video have changed my life. I will never download illegal software again. The fat woman in the suit talking about how the consequences of piracy never will be the same was a true wake-up call for me. You too should stop your criminal and immoral activities before it's too late and you find SIIA and an officer from the Cyber Police Department at your doorstep. These anti-piracy PSAs really affects people, you should make more of them.
So basically the company says "lol, ffffuck it, risk analysis sez we got this shit" and then one douche in the company is like "that against teh lawz wtf" and they DON'T FIRE HIM?
Also, there is something wrong when you pay up to $150k in fines for what just amounts to theft, when a potentially deadly traffic violation is less than 1/1000th of that.
There will never be a good analogy to copying software when it involves non-digital products. Not until someone invents a device that produces a perfect duplicate of a physical product, mapped molecule by molecule. There's nothing in the world like digital media.
Ahh but you forget, your boss is late. Your driving has nothing to do with the company. So they want you to speed because it saves their reputation at best, and at worst it wrecks your reputation WITHOUT reflecting on them at all! Its a win/win for business. You lose your license, can't get to work. You're fired and replaced. Corporations would slice you up and sell your organs if they thought they could get away with it.
There is a difference between taking everything you see and not paying anything and in general being a tard.
It is different if you try something before you buy it, or get the program/movie/music/whatev through illegal means but supporting the creators in a different manner. Such as going to musicians concerts, buying merchandise.
Yes, because your company would take a bad reputation for you speeding. There is about a 1% chance that your going to get a ticket whilst speeding, and almost everyone in the United States does it anyway, like pirating. THE MUSIC GROUPS THAT ARE BEING PIRATED, ARE ACTUALLY PUSHING FOR IT. PIRATING MUSIC GETS EXPOSURE TO WHAT WOULD BE LESS KNOWN BANDS IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY, SO FUCK YOU ANTISOFTWAREPIRATES.
If you are so rich and crooked that you can buy congress to make you insane, unjust and imo unconstitutional laws than that is not something to brag about
wow this is why people kill themselves. the first question was retarded as the douches that run this channel, you are way less likely to be caught stealing software then speeding. they always think they are taking the moral high ground. when they say that you will speed for your boss you may but i wouldn't. on the same subject wtf? where does the company factor in to the equation? remember, we where talking about speeding?
Ugh. I used to pirate, I don't anymore. The main reason I pirated was because I didn't want to drop 20 bucks on a movie only to find that it sucked, or spend $600 on software to find that I don't like it. If I liked what I pirated, I bought it. If I didn't like it, I deleted it.
Like anyone who has ever been caught pirating hasn't turned into a total PR bust. Tenenbaum, Thomas-Rasset, that old lady who was attacked by the RIAA despite not owning a computer; they're all great examples of why people pirate: they don't want to put up with your corporate bull.
I personally don't pirate, but this makes it obvious why people do it.

Why do people here like pirating? People actually worked on it D:
RenegadeFury 2 years ago
becuase the people making these videos are huge douches and most of it is via spite.
besides if you really pay for shit in the first place online, you're an idiot.
also alot of programmers would be honored if their stuff is circulated period

This video is stupid because no software pirates actually end up paying monetary damages. They're meaningless.

the antipiracy laws are fucking ridiculous, i mean come on now
does the jackass who runs this channel have the correct royalties license in place to use the avatar he has (Don't copy that floppy guy)
adammurphy 2 years ago 18
This is why more and more companies are using Open Source software to avoid licensing problems and save hundreds of thousands of dollars.
