  • What news package do you use?

  • I don't understand the question? We use Adobe CS3 software but we create our own news packages

  • Sorry I didn't make myself clear. In other words, what news theme do you use? What music is playing during the open/talent open? (1:06-1:23)

  • i think loads of other schools are doing the same thing.

  • This is a very fast growing segment of education and KBFT has been doing this for 6 years.

  • where is this school?

  • Sacramento California

  • You Definitely need to use tripod at the beginning segment and in your stories.

  • are these live?

  • yes we are live three days per week

  • yes! 100% live at 9:35 am

  • 5. How many CG machines are you running?

    6. What do you use to display the video footage on the LCD Screen next to your sports anchor.

  • We do not use CGs unless you mean our trinity it is our switcher and displays our graphics. we have just the one. and we use a set up exactly like our broll to display to the sports screen.

  • Hello.

First I would like to say what an amazing broadcast this is. Next I would like to ask a few questions:

    1. How often do you insert a segment like the internet piece into your broadcast?

    2. How many people work on your broadcasts?

    3. Do you play your B-Roll from tapes or a digital media server?

    4. How often do you rotate the footage in each of your intro movies.

  • #1 We have at least one news package in every show or their grades suffer. #2 It is always around 25 or so. #3 We use a computer and export our editing time line out in the form of an s video and then plug that into our switcher just as if it was a camera. #4 We did a new "intro" every show that year.
