So this is what it feels like to ride on a Harley!! Wow!! I actually felt like I was riding along with you two!! I must say the camera was VERY steady while you were riding. I have never been on a motorcycle before. My husband and son have 4-wheelers and I have rode on them before but I have never been on a REAL motorcycle. I'm proud of ya!!Gosh what an adventure you have had so far!! Just got back from a little getaway myself. Went to Florida for our 15 yr Wedding Anniv! Had fun on the beach!
BOO!!....hehe :) I just mowed half my lawns, fixed a brake light on my car and am chilling for a min...lol...sigh....This is the 'real life' of Princess Sunbeam :)...hehe :)

I had bikes for eleven years and survived all sorts of mad trips but I always hated going as a pillion passenger. I wondered did you shoot video whilst on the Harley, perhaps you had the camera taped to your helmet because I imagine your hands where occupied clinging on for dear life. Mind you, Harleys are a bit like armchairs. Next time you should don a set of leathers and try a Ducati.
I think the only way I could ride would be as a passenger. It was funny - I am so used to being responsible for every detail of my and Jack's lives, the part I really enjoyed most was handing that over to someone else (that I trusted!) for a little while - so nice to enjoy the ride without having to think about driving etc....
On the camera....you are right on my hands clinging on for dear life...lol...the road vid had to be shot on another trip out.

Hi UncleDave :) Yes - you know, it really became way more of an adventure than I thought as we started living the plans I had made for the trip.....This was probably one of the biggest achievements for me - as I was so scared of doing it. It had seemed ok in principle, but when the bike was fired up....I started having second thoughts...lol :)

Hi Sunbeam,
I had bikes for eleven years and survived all sorts of mad trips but I always hated going as a pillion passenger. I wondered did you shoot video whilst on the Harley, perhaps you had the camera taped to your helmet because I imagine your hands where occupied clinging on for dear life. Mind you, Harleys are a bit like armchairs. Next time you should don a set of leathers and try a Ducati.

I think the only way I could ride would be as a passenger. It was funny - I am so used to being responsible for every detail of my and Jack's lives, the part I really enjoyed most was handing that over to someone else (that I trusted!) for a little while - so nice to enjoy the ride without having to think about driving etc....
On the camera....you are right on my hands clinging on for dear life...lol...the road vid had to be shot on another trip out.

Hi Phillip :) I am not sure....I am sure though if they do, they sound a lot more gentle that the Harley Davidson....that engine alone was enough to put my sensitive system into jitters...hehe :)

You didn't show the part where we stopped at the biker bar and you got plastered. (Just kidding). Well, now that you're a biker, have you gotten your first skull tattoo? It was my pleasure to take you for your first Harley ride. It was so funny...every time we approached a curve you tried to steer into it by twisting my stomach to the side, like pulling on the reins or a steering wheel. Plus... thank you for everything else too. You and Sally (Alfie and Max) were all delightful!!...And I am not sure I would have lasted the whole trip without the oasis of calm and warm friendship that the weekend with you both provided.
I hope very much we will be able to pass your way sometime again - I want more Harleynanda hugs and poetry readings and all that lovely stuff...and I am sure Jack and Sally will have more crop talk :)

Hi UncleDave :) Yes - you know, it really became way more of an adventure than I thought as we started living the plans I had made for the trip.....This was probably one of the biggest achievements for me - as I was so scared of doing it. It had seemed ok in principle, but when the bike was fired up....I started having second thoughts...lol :)

I put the helmet on and said to Michael - I am not sure I can do this..but he just got me on that bike pretty quickly - which was a gift - otherwise I might have given up..lol...I really was scared I would fall off with no seatbelt etc..lol
