Ground type gundam IS the RX-79G. RX-78 series only consisted of the 3 in the anime and those 4 and 5.
There were about 20 RX-79G built from the spare parts of Project V; and 3 were used in the development of EXAM system(resulting in the Blue Destiny 1,2, and 3; because the original base ms for EXAM system was Ground GM but the body was too weak for the high performance/reaction caused by installation of EXAM system).
@calvintola actually on the RX-79[G] there are no Vulcans in the head there is a chest vulcan however but off the backpack (booster unit. jetpack whatever you want to call it) is where the external light is located if you'd seen 08 MS team, you'd know that

@MegaManX1415 only BD units 2 and 3 actually had the exam system built into a ground type gundam (incidentally these two units were malso modfied for space use) 1 was generally a unique suit but more in line with a GM unit than a ground combat gundam
@adadqgg the ground combat gundam never had rocket launchers slung under the chest armor, I'm sorry but your wrong here. go here and look at the image of BD-1 the only similarity from the ground combat gundam and BD-1 is the cockpit and the RGM-79[G] had a similar cockpit design
yeah! i love the RX-79 [G]! it kicks so much ass! i love Ground Types! it would be great if there was some music but this is really good! would of been better if the Ez-8 was in it!

hmmm....Blue Destiny....the only suit that looks good from the UC line =P the only reason I like it is cuz it resembles my fav. grunt unit , da Strike Dagger ^_^
i hope everyone realizes that this would never really happen. blue destiny would destroy the rx-79 no matter how much it pains me to say that (my favorite gundam). EXAM would kick in for i guess the pilot would be nimbus (who is a zeon ace) and the poor federation pilot would get slaughtered unless he was that pansy amuro or some newtype.
its good but..... they move to fast in the show there slow and he damged his chest.... he would have moved slower and he wouldn'tjust shake... he would kick him or something... and the other guy would have killed him..... when he hit his arm and gundams don't do back flips specaily the old series of gundams there slow. besides some of the main ones just kinda move a bit faster
It's like a special computer that contains the soul of a Newtype. It aids the pilot in battle with reaction and tactical decisions or something like that. Anyhow, the fact that it contains a soul makes it sort of unstable, and sometimes the computer completely takes over.
Also it is totally incompatible with Newtypes due to its creator spiting them. It basically allow oldtypes to use NT powers at possible chances of insanity.
Not at all, the EXAM System was more of an early version of Gundam F91's Bio-Computer, which the Zero System was more based on the Bio-Computer as well,

You know I think this was the Mk-2 from Zeta Gundam and not the Blue Destiny. The other one looks like the RX-78 Gundam (G) from 08th MS Team.

Sorry, it is the other way around. The Strike Dagger resembles the Blue Destiny. Blue Destiny was made far before gundam seed was created.
