I played paladin during the vanilla days pre-BC and pre-Battlegrounds patch. I had always wanted to play how I envisioned the paladin which was to turn the tide of battle using the right combination of fighting/healing/supporting. I didn't know how to do it until I watched Jamaz' "Conviction" video. In many ways his play-style was an inspiration to me and some of my best memories in WoW come from "saving" my team mates in the nick of time with a clutch heal and grenade throw =)
It's amazing how few abilities you actually used in PvP, yet we see people calling these players "amazingly skilled" or w/e. True, WoW was new to people and displaying ANY kind of skill was rare....but compared to today, even the average BG scrub is skilled enough to pull this off :P
@Xuvial You fail to take in to account that there wasn't alot of abilities to even use for a ret paladin back then. He pulled off clutch heals, bops assists, hoj'ed when a actually made sense. It was all about timing and a dash of luck. I doubt you even watched the videos, he takes on incredible odds.
@gonkraider Im sorry to burst your bubble, but this guy is taking on people he outgears the FUCK out, who seem completely unable to play their own toons to begin with (have you seen even a single rogue kick once?).
@Ervtard talk about skill in the day a naked rogue could gank pvp geared chars easily. to see a paladin who only has auto attack kill in the day was awesome. since paladins didnt get crusader strike till bc.
god dude, i miss the unstopable force. that weapon was such a beast. i'll never be as happy to recieve a weapon as was when i upgraded my blue av spear to the epic mace.
This is a classic all time pvp vid. Wayy before Crusader Strike and Divine Storm. This was the era of auto attacks, 20 sec Seal of Command, and Enginnering PVP
How is it not skill? If someone is really good at karate does that mean they have no skill because they're just jumping, kicking and punching?
PVP used to and in some cases still requires fast reaction times and knowing what spells to use in certain situations. I remember back in the day everyone used to quote "SKILL>GEAR" not so true in most cases these days. I think anyone who used to PVP in those days will agree he had major skill. Specially playing a paladin. /salute
Team Pally Pot on Silver Hand. Was never a member of their group but pvp'd with them back in the day and in guild with the majority of the team now. Several good paladins came from that group
Only those who have played the game at this state can and will get that epic feeling all the idiots looking at how good the player is won't. How can you be that stupid for even thinking that it's the reason it got reuploaded.
Thank you for uploading this gcedus. This really made my day
thats not the best paladin pre-bc seriously cmon he only figth undergeared retarded oppenent and gear difference was much more important in these day....
all the jamaz films before this one are way more epic. but pre-bc was the best game i have ever played. i really do miss wow back then. its cool we all have to move on..
His videos were the reason i started a pal. Hes one of the best oldsql palas out there and his videos were setting a new standard (editing and so on).
Everytime i see old vids i curse blizzard for destroying the best game in the world...:@
He played as protection, not retribution.

The thing that made vanilla good was that it was new fun /much world pvp and the classes hadn´t same types of abi like ccs.
