@twitch3111 It's not a matter of talent, it's a matter of style. Other than the fact that they both have prog elements (which is a stupidly broad category), I really don't see what this band has in common with them at all.

Dream Theater hasn't been good in years, by the way. No amount of talent changes the fact that Portnoy and Rudess have turned it into the technical olympics. Petrucci sounds great on his own material, but he lets those two turn him into a solo robot on anything DT puts out.

wow...this is Insane!..it's like Arch enemy picked up Jeff Loomis and ran away with Hansi Kürsch and made these guys...i must say that I've found another addition to my favorite band list. Now i have to go and see if my local music store has Distant Tides :D. Thanks for making my holiday's guys, keep on making this ridiculously awesome musik! :D
