  • you have to stop saying "um"

  • Try adding a little bit of egg white, mix it thick... It comes out poofy :]

  • Although itis typically dry when you cook it all by itself- I have managed to make a fake pb and J sandwich that does not taste bad.

  • Wild. I never thought to do this. Now my head is spinning with ideas??? How bout a rice crispy protein treat? YUM YUM.

  • lol talk about one hell of a dry treat! No Marshmellow....lol obviously you've never cooked whey because although its a GREAT tastey option, it is still dry- and I can't imagine a rice crispy protein treat, if you create it though- send it my way! ;)

  • Proteins are biological in nature, their 'spine' is made of carbon, proteins consist of aminoacids and so on, if you expose a protein to more than 42 degrees celsius, the protein molecules will start 'dying', they will not be as useful after exposure to that kind of heat or above. I personally prefer keeping my proteins intact and not destroying them in the microwave. The effect isn't that big, i mean, you cook food with a lot more heat but... this is pro. pow. , and you're destroying it.

  • Not correct.

Whether or not a protein denatures, is not relevant. Heat, while it unwinds the structure of the intact

proteins, does not affect the constituent amino acids, which remain the same

  • So should I eat my chicken and steak raw?

  • that is interesting. I've been putting my p/p in the microwave quite a lot lately, and was wondering if I was ruining it by doing so.... but when you think about it like that, it's probably okay. Just like cooking a steak lol :)
