I was watching this video and I went to pause it and it wouldn't let me. The play symbol changed to the two lines but he kept jamming out. He's THAT good. "Pause-able" deny-ability!
@klebror It gets about 50 to 60 hits a day. That's been pretty consistent for quite a while. His other one gets about a hundred these days. It tends to fluctuate more because of the Stumble-upon factor.
this was definitely not the most complex piece played at the festival. But he did perform it beautifully and flawlessly. If i had judged, i would have given him the win too.
@dylanmatheson A Stonebridge guitar, and a competition spot in the International Fingerstyle Guitar Competiton held at the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield Kansas. See the canadianguitarfestival site for other details.
This certainly didn't appear to be the most technically difficult of the songs in this competition, but damn is it composed well and executed nearly perfectly. It's absolutely cemented in my head. Such a cheery tune...It's like the anthem to being on top of the world.
the build that starts at 2:40 gives me chills everytime. stumbled upon the 2nd song he did and now ive been pressing the replay button for the past 20 minutes... too good
@chukkachukka It's explained a bit on their web site - I'm not a player so I don't know myself. If it's not clear enough, try emailing Del about it. Cheers!
@13mdark As far as I know, yuh. The tuning is correct. I can't play guitar SUPER well, but just following what he was playing, that tuning mimicked the sound very well.
