Common sense is not so common anymore. He has a nice laid out truck from what I seen which usually means they care about there work. Not they yokals who come with one big box with everything in it and a dirty old truck.

For hoses, keep yourself several rolls of electric tape, just give it a wrapping, take it easy, that will usually get you back into a shop to fix it up right. :)
