I've seen video footage of cars crashing from these same speed bumps. Two things 1) You don't put a speed bump in the middle of a fucking long, open, stretch of road! I was talking to a police officer in Mexico, they have the same things on 3 lane highways. There used to stop trucks from drug smuggling, and immigration on the borders of the us, and mexico. So they do work efficiently but guess not enough since we have so many immigrants in our country and drugs but thats mainly what they are used for. Also in mexico its a 3 lane highway on one strip its like a big ass road thats a highway basically It does not have on and off ramps just side streets
