great flying, bad crash, really sorry man, hope you have fixed it already with the metal ones. keep going you are really good (i'm not even close to that).
haha. that sucks i feel your pain! hey most blade grip failure with plastic grips happens when you over tighten the grip to the blade and it makes a small split were the bolt is touching and it gives way. take to other good grip and put a bad blade in it and over tighten it and take it back out, you will see the split. same thing with the boom block they split really easy on the 500 trex.
dumbshits, these heli motors are designed for these kind of Rpm's.. plus the Trex 600 has a gear noise which makes it sound like its revving more than it is..
ive never had a problem with running a high heapspeed.. my raptor 50 was on 2250rpm without governer with +12.5 & -12.5
if i remember correctly trex 600's had a grip problem when first released
nice if you're standing there watching getting a blade in your face at 400km/h :) friend of mine had one against his leg.. the nitro engine exploded litteraly while taking off
They were apparently the "older" style grips but the so-called "E" grips are now the same as the "N" grips. The model number on these grips was the same as that listed in my "N" manual. Not trying to necessarily shift any blame, but I get tired of people always trying to blame the user.

bummer, these things are hard enough to fly without mech failures to bring you down..fix her and post a clip of your next flight

As far as I know he used the plastic grips from the 600e not from the 600n. Thats the reason...
