  • *running footsteps from the house*

    Music! instant goosebumps. pulse racing.

My god that's an excellent scene!!

  • 6:35 the Devil

  • The runs out and the music begins... Best part indeed

  • El cine en todo su esplendor… música…. Imagen, lo mejor de Leone

  • MAUREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN

  • real real real;..no fake movies, like in 2011....better stop making movies in 2011.,or do it like this ,the expensive way with real decors, real costumes,,a real handmademovie

  • This is my favorite scene. My father's is the opening one. But I think this, the opening, and the flashback are the three top ones in the film.

  • bronson can sure enough open up a can of whup ass

  • Without a doubt, this is Morricone at his most powerful. Grab that awesome shot of the five dusters swaying in the wind, followed by the brilliant introduction of Frank's face. After having played a goodie in most of his films, portraying this sadistic killer was quite a departure for Fonda and yet, it worked perfectly. Leone and Morricone, what a combination of geniuses!! Their contributions to cinema deserve all the praises they get!!

  • This gives me shivers down the spine EVERY SINGLE TIME I watch it.

  • If the young boy wouldn't have been killed, the harmonica would have been shot during the final and the redhead boy would have become the new "harmonica" (probably a drunk man considering the whiskey bottle...) it's a cycle.

  • one ginger kid watched this video

  • 07:46 That wee boy standing there all alone, orphaned and helpless. It's heartbreaking. Frank deserved all he got.

  • best slap ever!...our mother died 6 yrs ago....SLAP!......

  • Just saw the movie and i am wondering why i didn't see it before..wow...amazing...the best..such a powerful scene and with no dialogues..but Fonda's eyes say it all..Leone is a master...This is a master class in film making. Every scene is a best scene ever.

  • is that the Jill's Husband's real hair?

PS Ennio Morricone is terrific! This soundtrack is freakin' badass!

  • It's the best scene in the movie, because the woman is both outside AND in the kitchen! Well done, Sergio.. Well done.

  • 7:58 Oh my god!! It's Henry Fonda!!!!

  • one of the greatest scenes in the history of film.the evil of Henry Fonda's character is portrayed with absolute clarity. todays directors should take lessons from Sergio Leone.no wasted dialogue or movement.magnificent.

  • tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap. the kid is dead 6.35 R.I.P........

  • 7:04 The Demons are coming from Hell !!!

  • Poor little kid...... I thought at first sight that he was the only survivor of this family and he was going to revenge when he will be grown up. He was so innocent.... made me cry a lot just by seeing the scene cutting off when Frank shoots.....:-( Anyway it's a great movie.

  • @gitane1976 Thats what is so great about this scene at the time it came out. Particularly movies made in the US the kid would almost have to live. But not in this movie and Frank would have let the kid live if his stupid henchman hadnt said Franks name....but Frank is cold blooded and no one could dispute that after he fired the gun....pure genius.

  • the bad guys appearing from the bushes wearing long coats and carrying rifles while walking toward the camera. one word PERFECTION

  • WHY STOP THE VIDEO THERE!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • lol when he hits the kid it makes the sound of a freaking howitzer!

  • CHILLS.

  • all good

  • baaamdababammbamm! :D

  • They should have dyed the actors' hair. I would have had more sympathy if it wasn't just a bunch of gingers. Or I don't know, did they use gingers on purpose so we'd feel sympathetic to the killers or what? Films are so complexicated.

  • @cmlprd Well, the characters are Irish, ya know.

  • @phxsns1 - You have a Problem with Irish? J-off? Toughest people on Earth. Lets see you face one face to face even by todays standards.

  • @obiefive8 My comment was in response to one of the top comments saying that the characters were ginger. The characters are Irish, so there's a bigger chance that they would be ginger.

    Calm down, man.

  • @obiefive8 Are you kiddin? theres fuckall hard about paddys. Ive knocked loads out and sober ones as well. Just a myth like there unicorns.

  • @cmlprd Complexicated? What the fuck?

  • the best " horror " scene

  • Oh my god, she needs to learn not to cut bread toward her body like that.

  • BAMBIMBIDIIBAMBAMBAMBAMBIDIBAMBAM! rotfl!

  • Wow even today people are fucking stupid racists -_-

  • Once Upon a Time in the West is the best western movie ever

  • I know what killed them... look at the sky at 5:54 xD

  • @izlude2 HOLY #%(@# IT'S A FUCKING CHEMTRAIL!!! Did they spray that shit back then? What the hell is going on?

  • Damn, how can you choose the best scene in the film?

  • A family of Gingers. Bad guy or not, Henry Fonda had little choice.

  • HOLY SHIT, IT'S HENRY FONDA!! xD

  • 1 person heard Frank's name.

  • the music at 6:37 is so epic and so perfect with the boy, great movie

  • Epic slap at 4:15

  • This may just be a film, but even today people would walke over deat bodys to reach there goal...... humans wont ever change.... never!!

    Its just awesome.........

  • Back then, people got pissed off at Henry Fonda and Sergio Leone for this scene. Henry Fonda in the people's eyes was always the good guy and Sergio corrupted that image with this scene. But this movie turned out to be another Sergio Masterpiece and the audience had to accept it for what it was. One of the great western movies of our time and Henry Fonda was just acting....!

  • as they appear

    dust. death

  • The kids were Gingers. They had to be shot.

  • @nerd719

I laughed so hard when you said this :P

  • @nerd719 ....godd sense of humour....

  • @nerd719 I laughed a lot too, then realised that if kids with special needs had to be shot, you wouldn't be here today.

  • @nerd719 I saw a little Ginger boy get shot right in the head! Right in the head! RIGHT IN THE HEAD!!!

  • @phxsns1 in the faceee

  • @nerd719

    Shut up

  • @nerd719 it is not true. it is enough if you just give them weapons, the Gingers shot each other ,look at Ireland or take the wrong path in glasglow.

  • @nerd719 I only accept this Gingerly.

  • I liked the opening the best

  • This whole darn movie is filled with "...BEST SCENE, EVER(S)!"

    gee whiz!

  • This is so good.

  • Music at 6:37?

  • @capecodpirate7 "the man with the harmonica"

  • really best scene...i love it!

  • @sonik414141 Really? Better than the opening scene?

  • @patgarrett5755 i think so

  • @mreldude I don't know...the finale was amazing as well...but I won't argue with you. This scene is awesome.

  • more than perfect....
