  • At first my dragon would not eat things that didn't move. I put some food in some tweezers and put it in front of him and he ate it.

  • So you don't chop the grapes or anything? or does it bite them trough. Im just a beginner and my beardie doesnt wanna eat his greens :P

  • @MultiCodFTW Dragon could really care less. They could swallow it whole and you are fine. Just make sure you are giving them ripe fruit. Like if you are going to feed them those little Cherry Tomatoes make sure they are not hard and erect. Your Dragon could choke on this but a grape is no problem. A Juvie can easily swallow several grapes whole. Also be careful because my Dragon "trusts" me and anything I hold out in my hand and offer to her she will take willingly.

  • ur not supposed to feed it lettuce, feed it dandelion greens, collard greens, and mustard greens, and bok choy, and kale, and turnip, escarole and chicory. lettuce can cause mal nutrition U DUMBA**

  • @gamemonster567 I love kids that have no clue what they are talking about. You are a perfect example. The lettuce you are referring to is called Ice Burg Lettuce and it has no nutritional value. Therefor it basically turns into water down the digestive track. Also you were a moron to make a list of what to feed Bearded Dragons because there are literally hundreds of Fruits and Vegies. As you will notice every Bearded Dragon care sheet has a different Vegetable/Fruit Diet that is usually healthy.

  • Should my bearded dragon be eating a salad already she is 1 maybe 1 1/2 yrs old?

  • Mine wount eat the meal worms..

  • I got my beardie 3days ago he 5weeks old and love his crickes an locus but wont touch his greens the day i got bambam he eat a tiny bit of salad and now wont go near the bowl lol i might try your lil milworm trick 2morrow

  • @Lastresort2010E16 Don't worry about it. As long as he/she is under a year old greens aren't really a big deal. You will notice the older they get the more interested in fruits and espicially vegies they will be. Also the more real stuff like Kale, Celery Flowers, Apples, Green Peppers, and all that other stuff is healthier for them. Some people go after the canned stuff that is much less appealing and healthy for the Dragon.

  • do not feed your dragon lettice

  • thanks for the tip man coz mine wont eat his greens coz i leave his food bowl in the tank all the time so im gonna try putting his food in at set times of the day so he actually looks at wat im giving him instead of it being sat there all the time (:

  • my dad owns a reptile shop and i have bred over 300 different species of reptile and i wasn`t being nasty i was just trying to help you sorry if i offended you in any way

  • I have a baby bearded dragon I got it 2 days ago and I feed it 3 crickets a day and it has a different fresh salad everyday, mostly lettuce or tomato, cucumber, is that ok and should i feed it more crickets?

  • @nkoleczek They Need To Eat 10-15 Crickets Per Day.

  • HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU FEED A BEARDED DRAGON INSECTS AND SALADS?

  • Hey umm, so i can feed my beardy mealworms and the occasional waxworms or crickets and i can be absolutly sure that it will be healthy?

  • @WhyYouDoHere @WhyYouDoHere The easy answer to your question is yes. Most people don't give their Dragon the correct variety of food they need. For example I feed mine any Fruit and Vegies we have along w/ Hornworms, Waxworms, Mealworms, Superworms, Crickets, Dubia Roaches, Grasshoppers. A variety of insects is much more important than a variety of fruit and vegies. You should although try to get the biggest variety of both.

  • first of all mate in your other vidio you say your pretty close to an expert (idont think so) you shouldent feed bearded dragons mealworms because of the chennin in them and and its harmfull so you know please if you have to do it only put 2 or 3 in it will not might it will kill your bearded dragon in the end .. to every one else if you want to know more message me i will answer any questions on royal/ball pythons.. leopard geckos .. bearded dragons .. and i havent got any more room so byee :)

  • @hamsterluni1 First of all i'm not your mate fag. Second of all "chennin" isn't even a word kid so learn to spell. Third I've fed my Bearded Dragon Super/Meal worms every other day of her life and she is now roughly over three years old and doing fine. Rather it be Hornworms, Mealworms, Superworms, Earthworms or Waxworms they are all great for your Bearded Dragon. You are a moron, but thank you for your time!

  • 3 years? wow shes really small. Thanks for telling him off because the only problem with meal worms and such is there is no real nutrition. but dumb ass up there cant even type let alone understand what a bearded dragon needs.

  • @hamsterluni1 ya i think ur a hamster expert... cuz if you cant tell this is a bearded dragon lol.... and yes i forgot that every single person who cares for bearded dragons in the world didnt know that mealworms are some poison... HAHAHAHHA

  • 0okk this is way off subject but im gonna ask anyways ok...im gettin two bearded dragons in a few weeks && i want to kno if its ok to get two boys as babies or will they fight?????

  • @MsBritta619 It always depends. It's better to get them when they are babies though. You should always give them as much room as possible in the cage because they are "nippy" and "playful" w/ each other but they can bite off each others toes and tails. I've seen it happen and it's not pretty. Anyway you won't know until they get older. They may get territorial they may not. Just ask your self if they start fighting can you split them up or give one away.

  • my bearded dragon wont drink unless i take a needle and take the head off the needle and just give it water like that what can i do?

  • It is 2 years old it won't eat furor

  • Hey I saw this video I have a bearded dragon and I feed him some apples cut up into small thin peacies and he sttill wouldn't eat them so I'm ask you for some help

  • @jesjie Depending on how old your Bearded Dragon is some may not eat fruits and vegies right away. They have a personality. Like on rare occasion some Dragons don't accept Crickets and only eat Super Worms or the other way around. They all have different taste. Example some Dragons love Gold Fish and my Dragon only ate one in it's entire life and will not even look at another one. They are all different. Just try feeding it something else like a cut in half grape or Romaine Lettuce.

  • @noobyhayabusa Ignorant people make up really strange stupid things. They say Pinkie Mice can kill a Dragon or cause impaction. As long as it isn't too big (To cause impaction) it is a healthy treat. It's just like anything else though. You should never feed a Dragon the same thing over and over again. It's like feeding them Romaine Lettuce and Crickets their entire life.

  • i heard you have to feed them a special type of lettuce

  • Hahah hilarious, I never thought of that. Nice video.

I'm lucky though, my beardie can't get enough veggies. Absolutely loooves dandelion flowers and butternut squash. If I give mine mixed greens/fruits/veggies, it's quite funny to find all the chunks of squash gone first.

  • can they eat beetroot

  • I'm sorry to say i am unfamilar w/ that. Maybe someone else will post. Sorry i don't try to answer things i don't know the answer to.

  • i heard that lettuce isnt that nutricious and is mostly water.

  • Yes and therefore can make their waste "runnie" and can even be unhealthy for the Dragon if it consumes alot of it. Also it's better to avoid Ice Berg Lettuce all together because it causes other problems that haven't even been solved yet. So it's easier to just avoid it.

  • you dude, this is genius... so much easier then shaking lettuce in front of your bearded dragon haha. but for my baby i can't do this as often :/ because i can't feed him many mealworms at a time so he doesn't get sick...

  • Just make sure the worms are the smallest you can get then. Then they will try to pick every single one out of there. They are much more interested in movement than they are boring old fruits and veggies.

  • DONT USE ICEBERG LETTUCE !!!!

    NORMAL LETTUCE ONLY ICEBERG KILLS

ALSO I HAVENT GOT A BEARDIE KILLED BY IT I JUST NO THAT FROM MY RESEARCH I DID BEFORE I WAS ABLE TO GET MY BEARDIE !!!

Also Your Breadie Is Sooo Cool

  • There is nothing to prove that Ice Berg Lettuce causes problems. For some unseen reason though it does cause problems so for this i must agree it would just be better to avoid it. As there are so many other Fruit and Veggie choices to choose from that you know is safe. Just make sure you rinse it.

  • Well I Just Want People Not To Use That Kind Of Lettuce

  • iceberg lettuce has no nutritional value and can cause diarrhea.

just get colalrds, mustard greens or dandelion greens. papaya, mango, yellow squash, acorn squash, and butternut squash are healthy also.

bell peppers and grapes are not healthy either as they are high in oxolates.

  • Rapetacular!!!

  • lettuce is nothing but water not a good veggie for a beardie.switch it with callards or somthing like.i wouldn't feed him/her anything with the word lettuce in it....but nice vid.

  • i know you put a few veggies on here but what other types could you give them? And what kinds do I need to avoid?

  • Nice video man. Very informative for those who have trouble having their bearded dragon eat their greens. Mine is an adult now and he absolutely loves his greens. I think crickets are still a favorite of his though. :P

  • how cum u didnt put your calcium or put pwder on your mealworms.

  • Maybe you can't see it but they actually do have the Repti Supplement on them.

  • Can I use Roman lettuce to feed my bearded dragon???/

  • If he's an adult it's fine. But as a baby you wana use some other greens. Roman lettuce doesn't have as much nutritients as other lettuces do.

  • Dont listen to him!!!

he doesn't know what hes talking about!

  • very informative information.your vids are great.keep up the good work

  • Thank's it's nice to know some people appreciate it.

  • yummy

  • Well me myself think it's easier to wash in the bowl. Plus you wash it more thouroghly also. Anyway one of the main reasons is so i could point out the fact that you need to wash all vegies and fruits before feeding your Dragon. Just like you need to do for yourself.
