  • what year accord? didnt they have the same motor as a cl and tl type-s?

  • Corolla vs accord yhea! Guess some guys here are but hurt about the accord not beating the corolla, but honestly the xrs is fast. When you hit v-vti it feels like the screws and plastics are gonna come off!

  • What year Accord is it and it it auto?

  • you all get ur shiz str8 the camera car is a 2003 Silver Accord V6 6-speed, stock J30a4 engine (3.0L).... with AEM V2 cold air, and Greddy Evo2, 2.36 inch exhaust, and Precat deletes. The accord weighs ~3700lbs with the passenger and mades 235whp/200wtq in this video. The corolla was prolly just barely making 190whp in this vid and 130wtq, weighing in at ~ 2900lbs wit the passenger.

  • honda 3.0 v6 if im not wrong... corolla 1.8 4cil... corolla is the underdog but its almost kicking your ass

  • @lajaraism

any car that weighs basically nothing and can rev 8000rpm+ clearly has an advantage despite the motor size.

  • Toyota needed Yamaha to build a 100hp per liter engine where as Honda had one since the 80's

  • @MaddDogg81 Name a honda motor in the 80's with 100bhp per liter? Name more then 2 factory honda's before 2001 with 100bhp per liter. Let me help you. I will stir the pot. First gen gsr = 1.7 with 160bhp. Nope Second Gen Gsr = 1.8 with 172bhp. Nope Type R = 1.8 with 190hp. Theres 1 Em1 Si = 1.6 with 158hp. Nope Now Lets Go With Toyota Supra TT = 3.0 with 300bhp. Theres 1 Celica gts = 1.8 with 180bhp. Theres 2 Celica All-trac = 2.0 with 200bhp. Theres 3 Mr2 Turbo = 2.0 With 218bhp
  • @IAmMrFlippers The B16 in the late 80's CRX in Japan and Europe had 100h per liter na

  • @IAmMrFlippers Honda had the B16 with 160hp in the late 80's an that was na. It was in the JDM and Euro CRX's Honda was developing 100hp per liter engines in the mid 80's

  • @MaddDogg81 Btw don't give me this all motor crap. Its not my fault honda doesn't learn.

  • these corollas are the only corollas i have respect for.

  • that xrs sounds like a beast!

  • props to that corolla haha its no slouch...

  • That XRS sounds absolutely sensational.

  • for as reliable as corrola is and for it to get down like that you gotta give it props just cause you dont see many corrolas on the street racing doesnt mean that some cant get down! ;)

  • Wowww 1.8 vvtli vs v6 vtec yamaha ftw

  • wooot! two of favorite racing!! nice! i dont mind driving of them. Nice race.

  • ders no way das a xrs cuz it woulda smacked on dat poop ass honda

  • corolla xrs has DOHC 2zzge && almost 10hp/ liter, accord has SOHC more weight && some bs hp-liter look up difference between SOHC VTEC, DOHC VTEC, SOHC i-VTEC && DOHC i-VTEC

  • dam would of thought the corolla xrs was gonna take off.

what else is done to the accord in stead of just intake and exhaust???

  • @dkgsr its probably the v6...

  • why cant people udnerestand that corollas arnt meant for racing

  • @ChromeMan04 4 wheels, check, engine, check, transmission, check, hey look it DOES have what it needs to race and it just beat you. now go cry in the corner.

  • @brobinson75 racing engine? nope racing car? nope, family car? yes. oh look here we have orusleves a ricer

  • @ChromeMan04 It is a racing engine. It's the same engine in a lotus elise and the celica gt-s.

  • @ChromeMan04

Stupid its a Corolla XRS! why dnt you understand?

  • I know the Accord V6 displacment

  • hmm I thought the Corolla would be a bit faster than an auto 2.7 liter Accord

  • @MaddDogg81

accord v6 is like 3.0 to 3.5 depending on the year

  • @MaddDogg81

my bad apparently this one is the older one

  • @MaddDogg81

my bad apparently this one is the older one

  • lol its my accord its 96 accord v6 2.7 nice...

  • u guys were gettin no where lol

  • That's about as close of a race as you can get. The J series (with DBW) has a full standalone coming! Visit v6p.net for details!

  • haha awesome

  • nice race i like that no one gave up and they went through all the gears thumbs up

  • What year is that Accord? If its a 7th gen Accord V6 Coupe and 6 speed manual, then the driver of the Accord don't know how to drive cause I have one and even tricked out XRS don't ever beat me and mines stock.

  • @InfamousPR

i know both of this guys and trust me the one driving the accord he drives very good. but that xrs corolla is riding good. the accord is pushing 245whp and the xrs 195whp

  • 1.8L Vs. V6 ... gotta love the XRS

  • Nice race.

  • Corolla obviously let off. If you cannot see that you are a ricer and my V8 will eat up your shit 4cyl.

    Good race though. Dead even.

  • Wow...very nice race. How do you like the 3" exhaust? I have it too and thought it was pretty noticeable after my OBX catback. I have the precat deletes/jpipe and ported intake manifold on my 6 speed. Look into RV6, he makes some great stuff! That Corolla surprised me.

  • nice runn

  • must be hurting all those corolla boy's ego to see the xrs go neck and neck with a accord. i believe this is magnus's xrs

  • @TheHumanRicer This is my car, and no why would it hurt my ego? I actually LOVE these cars, two of my friends have them and this is one of them.

  • @magusownz lol i never said it would hurt your ego. fanboys for example honda fanboys, ford fanboys, toyota fanboys, i actually like watching your videos as i said many times on most of my comments. it isn't the car that gives the bad name it is the driver that think they are fast that can do the talking but can't do the walking. i admit i am a hondafan boy i hate to see honda lose. a quick question though. how did a accord hang with you and the evoX lose to you.

  • @TheHumanRicer The race against the evo wasn't a full race, the guy couldn't drive that great as you can see he mis-shifted. But the evo is awd and will suffer more drive train loss than a fwd accord v6. The evo would've been a close race if the kid new what he was doing, I just posted the video.

  • @magusownz oh ok i was just wondering. i mean i knew the "guy" couldn't drive that well. because i believe during that time you hit a 14.1 quarter mile. yes awd loses the more power due power needing to be delivered to all 4 wheel. you making more whp now than from you old video of 197whp i think?

  • @TheHumanRicer maybe a little more whp now than before. We will see soon enough though. I'll be going back to the dyno to retune. Hopefully 200whp plus! That's been my goal for a while now, this is all with full stock internals.

  • @magusownz hey magus, I was wondering, if this xrs is yours, why does it sound strange? I mean the exhaust, was this race with the cutout?

  • @tonguixrs yes sir cutout was open

  • honda v6 and corolla 4cy ... corolla wins

  • @Daddy0089

what are you talking about... the honda passes that shitty corolla. Engine on the corolla sounds awful too.

  • @Daddy0089 its my accord its a 96 accord v6 2.7 nice

  • my bad for interrupting, but thats a corolla xrs!! If you whatch the video of the corolla racing the nismo 350z you should be able to find out why I'm saying it. And BTW I have a corolla xrs, and thats the sound of one!! and accord v6 afre pretty tight and run real quick!

  • thats a 1.8 liter and it only has like 130 something hp

  • @adfadfewfrewafawefaw you are thinking of the S which is rated 130hp. the XRS is rated at 170. Two completely different motors and trannys. S comes with with either 5 speed manual or auto and is a 1zz-fe motor while the XRS corolla comes only with 6 speed manual and is a 2zz-ge motor( the same engine in the celica gts, matrix xrs, i believe the pontiac vibe gt???, and also the lotus elise)

  • your losing top end wit that 3"

  • @vtownHduece no, you will lose low end torque not top end

  • @65PontiacTempest you will be losing both if you have a 3".. its all motor the most you need is 2.5". 3" is for turbo cars

  • @vtownHduece no you would need a lot more head work and more air/fuel being put into the engine. you can have 3inch in all motor cars with no problem. cars under 400 hp(all motor) really dont need 3 inch unless your wide open the whole entire time.you lose backpressure at the low end. turbo cars are different because the turbo gets a lot hotter and they benefit from 3 inch, less back pressure.

  • @65PontiacTempest lmao!! this accord doesnt have 400 hp so it is losing both

  • @vtownHduece with 3 inch you dont lose top end, ever. only low end..

  • Not an xrs, thats a normal 1zzfe 1.8

  • @Shihtzu90 Yes it is an xrs. You can see the emblem on the front when the honda passes.

  • THATZ NOT A XRS

  • @KINGSRT4 Yes it is an xrs. You can see the emblem on the front when the honda passes.

  • Badass Corolla!

  • @Xer0MachinE i hope thats sarcasm lol

  • @monkeyturd15 Why would it be?

  • @Xer0MachinE IT'S A COROLLA

  • @monkeyturd15 Yes...well observed it's a Corolla. What do you have against them?

  • @Xer0MachinE i just dont get why anyone would want to do something to that haha. i mean thats just my opinion and everyone i know lol

  • @monkeyturd15 Because it's a total sleeper.

  • @Xer0MachinE lol i wouldn't say that. you need a fast car to be considered a sleeper.

  • @monkeyturd15 Not really, any car with potential can be a sleeper, hence the term. The whole point of a sleeper is to not look like something that could be fast.

  • @Xer0MachinE i know what a sleeper is trust me lol. A car that is fast that doesn't look fast is a sleeper not a stock car that has potential. That's just a car that has potential lol. If your into the whole gay corolla then that's your deal. But i don't get it lol cause at the end of the day ... it's still a corolla.

  • @monkeyturd15 Then if you don't get it your coming here has been pointless since it's a Corolla video.

  • @Xer0MachinE it says honda accord first

  • props to the corolla...but accords are tight.....love them both.

  • ese corolla no es xrs>

  • wow fags

  • nice run. what year accord and what tranny?

  • @J30A4V6er Heh. I think you already knew the answer to that wasn't anything that adds up to a V6 Accord.

     -J30A1V6er

  • @J30A4V6er its a 96 accord v6 2.7 nice

  • @LWDDAR13 Nope its a 2002 body style accord with v6 3.0 6speed
