Hunting is not so much the problem. Snow leopards are being killed because of their conflicts with humans (ie, leopards killing livestock). Groups like the Snow Leopard Trust are doing excellent work to protect the snow leopards, their habitat, while protecting the interests, culture and livelihoods of the Himalaya people.
