Greg did and has a tendency to block his hips at the bottom of the strike,2 things happen when you do that, you either block the ball right or roll the right wrist and flat hook it,in Greg,s case he always blocked it right, besides that he was awesome and should have won far more than he did,I have seen him at St Andrews a really nice man as well,a masive under achiever given his massive talent.
He's had some good showings in the last couple of years, but swear here (and elsewhere) he looks like he's exaggerating his old habit of sort of dragging the clubhead back. I mean, if he can play with it still, more power to him, but it always struck me as something that made it a little hard to get the club on plane early enough--he'd delay the set extra-long on the backswing and sometimes look to be fighting it a bit (but almost always recover on the downswing, of course).
Yeah, and next year people will be reading something else into his golf swing based on the latest fad, just like they did five years ago and 10 years ago and 20 years ago.
I watched greg hitting balls in 1988 at riverside oaks golf club north of sydney, and i can honestly say i have never seen a golf ball hit with more authority in my life, with a trajectory to die for and this was with persimmon clubs and 1980's golf balls! AMAZING!!
What a stupid thing to say. He's a multiple major champion (twice), finished second in seven others, won 20 times on the American tour and 88 times worldwide. You should choke so much.
If greg norman had black hair.....what would make him special?

@emncaity But he was number 1 for a really, really long time. Someone who was number 1 for that long should have won more majors.
