There are furries on youtube that use pornographic backgrounds. Facts? There are furries on sites such as pounced.org that seek nothing other than sex. When I have met a lot of furries they tend to discuss sex openly, and come onto other furries very often.

Admittedly there are a fair amount of sane furries around, that are fairly decent people.

You appear to think, that keeping sexuality as a private matter between yourself and your partner somehow makes you "asexual." That is simply not the case. Prior to 1960 and the "sexual revolution", holding hands and kissing in public was seen as very vulgar and was largely frowned upon. Was everyone back then asexual? Quite the contrary, back then Europeans and Americans were quite fertile and produced 2.5 to 3 children per family on average. Now it's in a decline.

@bakagaijin1488 i am not saying that anyone that does not do these things in public is asexual, i am saying that if he is asexual, i am not going to insult his speech because of that. prior to 1960 yes it was seen vulgar, but this is 2011 and the reason there is a decline in children per family has nothing to do with people showing they care in public, its because we are currently in a recession and many cannot afford 3 or more children. also back in 1960, there was a lot more child death.

People in African and middle eastern countries have a lot more children per family, so the recession is definitely not a factor, as the impoverished seem to reproduce like rabbits. The reason there are less children now is because sex is warped to such a degree and shoved everywhere in the media, that it has lost all meaning. Now people have sex for nothing but pleasure and don't even think about producing children. This is why the sexual revolution should not have occurred.

@bakagaijin1488 yes but as i sed before, in the past people had more children as child death was a large prblem, in places like africa, things like malaria are killing most children so families are trying to have more in hope that one or two may be able to survive to help them produce food. i do agree that sex is all over the media, but i dont agree with you sayingit has lost all meaning. sex was always used for pleasure. we just didnt have good cotraception in the past...

furries in many ways are not self aware. they ignore their flaws and the flaws of their fandom. Which is very much in keeping with the rest of the fandom as a very common and integral part of it is the creation of "fursonas". characters for which to represent themselves.

The entire thing revolves around fantasy and pretense. Delusion even.

When this is combined with an unhealthy taste for zoophilia and strong sexual overtones you have a very hideous thing indeed.

I agree 100%. And not only do they publicize their fetish, but they then turn around and act like people criticizing what they CHOOSE to make public is the actual uncivilized behavior. I have no issues with what they do in the privacy of their own bedrooms so long as no one gets hurt (as in bestiality of pedophilia), but public sites viewable by children are not the place for their nasty yiff.
