  • He couldn't fly a plane or a magazine

  • Wow, I remember this; this happened the summer before I started fourth grade. So sad.

  • . He had very little experience with IFR. IFR is instrument Flight rule and VFR is visual flight rule. He had no business being behind the controls of the plane.

  • @Illuminatusi He--no, they--were NOT assassinated. JFK Jr had little experience with his pilot's licsence and unfortunately decided to take a flight that was ultimately too dangerous.

  • Well, the guy is dead! Time to move on!

  • I bolive the SS killhim, look what happen on 9-11-01 those airplane were controled by remote

  • i believe they killed him. the illuminati. johon jr. was a presidential hopeful, a young man to do what his father couldnt do becuz he was assasinated. they k new he would bring GOOD change with no bullshit, so they had him killed. so sad

  • @rockbutt123 Oh please, is the truth really that bad you need to resort to conspiracy theories?

  • Simply put, he didn't have the experience to fly the plane in the conditions. He, like so many Kennedys, didn't listen to people who were "beneath" him who were telling him to get his instrument rating before flying over the ocean at night.

Karma it beautiful when it strikes down one of these entitled Kennedys.

  • I worked for Hachette Filipacci, which published George, but started there in November 2000 and missed JFK Jr. by a year and a half. The place was still haunted by his absence. I remember once going into a meeting room where there was a huge round table. "That used to be in John's office" I was told. I also was told that he was a nice guy, very approachable. Many of my co-workers told me about talking with him in the elevator.

  • Lets re-cap what happend that day. JFK jr crashed a plane into the sea killing two woman and himself. instead of being charged with homocide, Teddy Boy arranged for a burial at sea with full military honors off a U.S. aircraft. JFK jr never served in any branch of military and never served in elected office. Non issue for a Kennedy. That was a total insult to America not to mention it cost me 4 million dollars. I want it back now.

  • how is the navy used to find johns body? public taxes cant be used to help this privileged hypes dumb flying error

  • nice hairpeice........

  • was jfk jr body ever found?

  • @onemin1986 yes, they found all three bodies. John was still strapped into his pilot's seat. He was cremated and his ashes dispersed in a ceremony at sea.

  • @TheClassica87

Yeah, all that work to bring him and the women up, only to have their bodies cremated and put right back into the sea. Kind of a slap in the face to those who risked their lives finding the bodies.

  • It is so funny how Brian Williams uses very careful verbage as to say "it doesn't bode well..." Well yeah, if I saw pieces of a broken up plane floating in the sea, I would automatically conclude that the chance of anyone surviving was impossible. I have to say at the time I did not want to believe that those on board had perished, but it was pretty obvious no one survived. I think we as a nation wanted to believe they were still alive. It was very sad to see those lives cut short.

  • He should have never flown that plane himeself with that bumb leg an under those weather conditions, what a dumb ass, putting the other passengers at risk. But no Jhon Jhon had to fly His own PLANE! tragic you had so much promies Jhon.

  • This was a tragedy, but JFK Jr. is solely to blame. He was an inexperienced pilot without an instrument rating. He wasn't equipped to handle the weather conditions because he couldn't read his instruments properly. He had no business piloting that plane at night and alone.

  • @lostindiancamp why did he never fly without an instructor then?

  • @shesapainter

I'm sorry, can you be a little clearer in your question? Obviously he did fly without an instructor on several occasions including the night they all died.

  • @lostindiancamp and why are you passing judgment?

  • LO MANDO A MATAR BUSH.

  • There are two types of pilots, old and bold.

  • @tubulardude44 ...BUT, there are no OLD-BOLD pilots!

  • Have some respect! RIP John, Carolyn & Lauren

  • John left from New Jersey TOO LATE. If he'd left on time, darkness/thick fog would not have set in before he got to his destination. Of course, one of the biggest reasons he left late was because Lauren Bessette did not leave her office on time and he had to pick her up before leaving NYC for the airport. At any rate, very dangerous for him to leave as the sun was going down when he did not have instrument training. He took too much of a risk and he lost. What a waste.

  • @Cathie8791 Exactly. John was the pilot; a pilot that didn't have the experience to fly the plane. He didn't have an instrument rating and unfortunately, didn't have enough sense to realize that he didn't have the training to handle the weather conditions.

He was a Kennedy and that was supposed to be enough. No experience required.....NOT. He risked all three of their lives and lost. Another typical Kennedy who has no respect for other people's lives, just like his uncle Ted.

  • @943kline Nicely put!

  • @943kline he was a pilot with 17 years experince talk to the pilots that knew him dont listen the the media and ask the plane company that built the plane you can not dive that plane it had a built in auto pilot in case a pilot had a heart attach or something it would pull out of a dive by its self

  • @stain22 He was starting to piss off the political world through the Back Door via George. It was known he planned to reopen his father's assassination. There were two extremely critical and inflammatory political articles in George. He wasn't just a pretty face and was becoming bold. Let's face it. Politics was in his blood. If there is one thing nasty crusty politicians hate is an idealistic Kennedy.

  • simply..........he was flying a plane without instrument expertise. he left after he was supposed to and ended up in a weather situation that an instrument-rated pilot would've been able to deal with. he was reckless and foolish. i really feel sorry for his wife and sister-in-law. he killed them. all the money in the world.....he could have had an instructor flying with him. a real moron.

  • The Kennedys have a reputation for living on the edge. That did several of them in. Teddy was treading on thin ice for years. It's a miracle he lived as long as he did knowing how bad off he truly was. Caroline may live as long as Grandma Rose, though. The Kennedys are very unique to say the least.

  • @wattzoo "unique" they are all privledged drunks.

  • I always get sad when I think of JFK jr. He was so young to have died and had so much to live for.
