I am just starting my weight loss journey, and if hopefully all goes well i will have my LB surgery in August. This video really hit home to me!!! I am a food addict, and I was having a conversation with a friend who it slim and fit, and she is desperately trying to convince me not to have surgery. This Video hit the needle on the head, words just cant express. Please continue with these videos, I am considering documenting my journeys as well. Stay Beautiful, Stay Blessed!
Always enjoy your videos, Ayeshah. Thanks for the topic, really timely for me as I'm still early in the process and struggling with getting my exercise in this past week. Good to see I'm not alone and that building stamina is an on-going work.
Great video...I am a food addict. You are not alone. This made me really think about getting back to OA (Overeaters Anonymous) support group, I think I need the extra support. If I eat one piece of candy, white flour, carbs, I can't stop and that's a huge problem. I was a food addict before surgery, so now I am a addict with a smaller stomach, that's all. Snacking is the worst for me. Thanks for sharing so honestly!
Great video! I love the way you think. You've done such a wonderful job on your journey that we can't help but be inspired by it. You really got me thinking about my triggers and I just may be doing a video on it when I get the opportunity.
you appear to be so disciplined. sweets is my biggest problem. if I can kick the junk food i would do fine. best wishes to u and you are a true inspiration!!!! :o}
you look absolutely gorgeous!!! 7 weeks and you will be running your 1st 5k! proud of you. just got back into town. read the same article on the plane ride home. awesome article. rock it out!!!
So great to hear about your start in exercise. So far in my pre-op stage I'm doing 4 miles walks and aerobics 2-3 times a week. My present to self come surgery is a Elliptical machine. I hear great things about them. I found one @ Walmart by "Gold's Gym" I seen great reviews on. You get me motivated everytime I watch you! I can't wait for my surgery. So far I've lost 31 lbs. Enjoying the Youtube challenges recently. <3 Angela
wow it really something because i just step out my home today and for the first time i started running and i ran for about 4 miles im on the treadmill all the time but i think im going to run outside now so just hang in there you will be running outside in no time
wow finally have a moment to just focus on you! such wisdom girl-- self awareness- recognizing our unhealthy relationships with foods ....i have found the carb monster has stopped chasing me for .bread-, pasta, potatoes etc..(lately) but the sugar monster-in forms of cookies and brownies- nope- can't have them in arms reach.... it is all about knowing yourself and your limitations-- and you know what? life is worth living with out some FOODS! lol!
LOVE THIS VIDEO!! I think we ALL can identify with food addiction. There is no such thing as backsliding. Honesty definitely is called for in this situation, as well as acceptance and determination. You look MAHVELOUS DAHLING'!! Your comments regarding fitness is so on point. Planning is key to our journey. You are successful and I applaud you.
Great video, excellent action steps! I am fighting with the carbs and sweets myself. I have also been lacking motivation for excercise. Your video help me uncover some things that i am dealing with myself! Thanks again! Have a great week!

That is a great thought...don't even go there. I took turkey to a spaghetti supper. I put it on my salad. A friend asked me if I ever get tired of eating like that. No, I just do not have any desire for spaghetti any more. I had my cheese and turkey to keep my protein up. I was making a donation to our youth work team fundraiser and my grandson was enjoying his time among friends.
ok, so all that i could see in this video, besides your smile were the start of collar bones! loved this video. never thought of myself as a food addict, just someone who could not control her portions, regardless of food quality. food addict = me. yes, this journey is about figuring out where we came from and what we can do to recognize and change for the better into the future. i so enjoy watching your journey through my eyes.
