It's really cool in person. I've within feet of one while it's doing this and when it puts it's large feathers forward, it's vibrating them and you can feel the air coming off of them and hear them vibrating! Amazing stuff!

if you look from 2:00-2:20 you will see a light brown female peacock behind the male flashing his feathers. the males are brightly colored and do this dance to attract females during mating season.
