Yes, I moved to the USA at 6 years old and then to Canada later on, but at home my family has always continued to communicate using Chinese as the main language. Even today, my roommates are Chinese international students, so we usually talk in Chinese as well. That might be contributing factors to a slight accent in my English. To be honest I'm surprised people have been saying my Chinese is good because aside from talking with my roommates I rarely use it these days.

I can speak and understand Chinese (mandarin) when spoken to on a conversational level. I moved to the USA when I was 6 years old, and therefore, my English is many times better than my Chinese, particularly in the areas of reading and writing (writing is a bit easier now with the help of computers where I can use pinyin). You may want to look into the mechanics of your own English usage as even upon first glance I can see many errors.
