  • thanks for the translate!

  • good english and chinese

  • Thank you, for translating.

  • thanks for translating

  • hey.. thx for the translation... my chineses is not that good.. good work

  • shengyongcui: not everyone understand chinese you moron!

    bombay: thanks for the video.

  • thanks for translating!

  • thanks for translating

  • Thanks for the translation! Interesting stuff!

  • i can only say your English is really good - but by translating this piece of shit into English is a waste of time. Good efforts though.

  • Thanks for the translation. At first when I saw this girl's video I was like "wtf?". With the translation I'm still like "wtf?" but at least now I know what she said.

  • @LiQuiDPeZ so what do you think about her ?

  • @sophymok

    Selfish Adolescent.

    =]

  • @LiQuiDPeZ she has no brain

  • @LiQuiDPeZ yess... and she (Zhan Ya) has no brain!

  • u are so bored

  • beautiful voice

  • retard

  • I belive you are beautiful just like your voice

  • you were good :]

  • Well translated, sister. I am from Sichuan Province. I thank you for your condolences. Now Westerners can join us in hating her for her outrageous statements. Long live China!

  • hating her is not the point.this just helps peep to understand why the responds to this are so offensive and aggressive.

  • Someone concern about the transparency and free-flow of information in and between china and western countries, but why don't you reveal the positive side of china? Please think about these issues and 1.3 billion chinese, think about 80,000 sichuan people who were buried alive and those millions of homeless, when you can think about "others". By the way , I really admire your beautiful voice!

  • had you watched her video, you would have seen that she does care about the sichuan people, as it's filled with images of what happened to them. it's a wonderful contrast to the horrible things that qian hui (or zhang ya) said about them, and that they are more than inconveniences to a selfish little girl.

you won't improve relations between any two peoples by trying to keep everything hidden. if it's so important you that things be positive all the time, show us something positive yourself.

  • I didn't say we should keep everything hidden and "things should be positive all the time", so don't put words into my mouth. Now it becomes hard to justify myself. You're right, I didn't pay enough attention to the pictures, she did show a beautiful heart. Compared to "rice-girl"'s video, bombaykitty did a great job. I don't have nothing to show by myself, I feel sorry for myself. speak of my suggestions to kitty 2 days ago, Can I take my words back ? please.

  • You may not see the point of translating something that's been posted onto an international website, but I'm sure many others who don't have knowledge of the Chinese language do. Let's think of others once in awhile shall we?

  • who are the "others" you are talking about? your friends, or schoolmates from Canada, Australia, or America? What are their reaction after listening to your video? Don't you think about how "others" think about us.

  • it only yr own subjective view

so shut the fuck up if u dont have anythin consructive to say

    dick ed

  • @shengyongcui S ho

  • it seems that she's Gao Qianhui (高千惠) and not Zhang Ya.

it was nice of you to translate. i'm sure there are other people who feel that it should've been kept to chinese speakers, but i feel that it's already out, and more good can come from discussion than keeping things inside.

and you did leave change a few of the worst things, but i guess there's no need to make it even more inflammatory. it's still sounded horrible even this way. she sounded like a 5 year old instead of a teenager.

  • i think your translation was very good. i do admit there are few things that you translated was some what tone down compare to what ZhangYa actually said in the original video. over all this was a good translation. you must be a very polite and kind individual since you tome down some of the bad upsetting things ZhangYa said in her video.

  • Hi Thanks for translation!! Cant believe someone can make such a cold hearted!!and selfish statement and broadcast it on the internet? Hope she dosnt represent todays young chinese!!!

  • sexy voice

  • very sexy. XD

  • THanks for the translation girl. :)

Really appreciate that you are doing this for the benefit of us who do not understand the Chinese language.

  • you had nothing to do really!!!!! YOu guys just love..drama..You know you DO!!!

  • Ok...and what does this have anything to do with...anything? If you like to just brush off an earthquake that killed over 60,000 people so far and left millions homeless as "drama" then that's your personal opinion. Ffor others, myself included, it's a bit more serious and heartbreaking than a simple "drama" label can explain away.

  • First. Great translation. but this translation gave people who don't know Chinese or people who know chinese but haven't seen the original clip yet some feeling that her video clip is not bad enough.

Second, to translate such clip is not a good idea for me. Even America has an old saying, What happend in Vegas stays in Vegas.

  • I am glad to see ugly is not exclusive to Americans!

  • too bad china has no education for even 21-year-old-girls. well anyway they do take discipline of their own people. now she is probably having butt-plugs stuffed up her butt-hole. too bad. don't scream either

  • awesome translation! well done. and thank you for your comments!

  • Please read my replies to others with similar opinion as yours on 2nd page of comments.

  • 支持妳, support, 早前我都想做一個英文字幕版video但是我老婆怕我被香港警察拘捕所以我沒做了, 謝謝你不怕大陸憤青圍攻, 我以你是中國人為傲

  • you're translations are great! i'm so dissapointed by this Liao Ning Nu, she's taking everything for granted. btw does anyone know where i can find the original video of liao ning herself making her stupid, selfish remarks?

  • ROFL, Liao Ning Nu...

  • i don't understand why you're getting slammed for translating this? props to you for translating. i had no idea what she was saying and now i do. thanks :D

  • Please see my response to previous comments similar to your's below.

  • Thank you for the translations.(:

The girl who said those horrible things, is just disgusting. I'm glad she got detained.

  • Thanks for the translation. Both your English and your Chinese are excellent.

From your response and your translation, I can feel that you are a very rational, considerate and kind-hearted person.

Please ignore many insulting comments. They can be quite extreme. You do not have to answer each of those comments.

You should be proud of yourself. You did great.

    Thanks.

  • Thank you very much for your kind words :)

  • delete it, please!

  • I certainly did contemplate over doing the translation, as responses similar to your own was predictable and certainly your worries are justified (especially considering recent events), in the end, however, I have a bit more faith in humanity that the large majority of the people will see the amazing unity and strength the Chinese people have displayed and realize this girl is NOT a representation of 1.3 billion people at all.

  • (con't2)

What gave me the final boost to go through with the translation was actually another person's translation. Her username on youtube is myricegirl (if you search for "辽宁女rice" you will find her translation videos), whereby 1) the translation was absolutely appalling itself and 2) the person doing the translation very clearly cared little for the victims of the earthquake nor the actual situation.

  • (con't3)

If this was 50 years ago then I'd agree, use the language barrier and keep this within China, no need to broadcast it all over. Unforunately, it's not 50 years ago, and the video has been uploaded to an international website. I would rather people who might happen upon the dozens of other Chinese 反骂videos know exactly why the Chinese people are so angry, and that our anger isn't unjustified rather then start thinking all Chinese just like to yell and scream on youtube.

  • continue.... Please delete the video asap, or what u did will be seen as a treason behaviors from all chinese(if this video is posted in chinese website, all ur info will be investigated in a minute, u will be another such an ass), and next time, please speak ur opinion in chinese, let all know u are a chinese. Please remember who you are, and where u from!!! (SB)

  • To the one translated this video: u are such a bitch, how stupid you are. I dont know why u went through so much details about this, is that feel so proud about ur English, or earn some extra tips to sell this to CBC news? I feel so ashamed about what u did. u know it doesnt make any logic sense that a chinese girl is trying to reveal her body from the same country, and make this news spreading over the world......

  • hey guys....this may sound weird.. but i understand alot know... open the orginal video and mute it, then start this video in another window then watch the other while the translation is on.

you will see how much of an ass the chinese girl was.

  • You speak with a very heavy Chinese accent but you say it's only slight... O_o Very sad.

Anyway, I appreciate your translation and everything ~ However, I couldn't help but notice and agree with the comments made by greatchnpeople, juhee1856 and jaemin1253. I don't understand how there are grammatical errors in juhee1856's comment though. I see an error in every one of your comments, Kitty. For example, you leave out "a" and "the" a lot in the sentences.

  • I don't know which English speaking country you and the others come from, nor which part of those countries you reside in, however I assure you that here in Ottawa, Canada any accent I may have has never interfered with my ability to communicate with the locals.

If you believe that my writing has many grammatical errors perhaps you'd like to take that up with my university profs who have rarely deducted marks on my essays for grammatical errors but only argumentative loop-holes.

  • btw thank you for all the time you send translating this!!

  • OMG this is sick as hell!!!!

  • omg, that chick is sick! she needs a huge reality slap. thanks for the translation, very good. :]

  • thank you for translating that. I appreciate you spending time and doing that for English speaking youtubers who didnt understand the girls video

  • Well I meant those as rhetorical questions, but ok.

Just a fyi, whatever comment you wrote, I can read about...maybe 10% of it because as I've mentioned before, my Chinese reading skills are super bad, especially considering you wrote in traditional Chinese. So, whatever kind of 废话 you wrote is quite literally 废话 when it's directed at me since I can't read it. Save your copy & pasting efforts ok?

    不就是想让我们不要在骂那个女孩儿吗? 我又没怎么骂她, 更何况,人家反骂不反骂是人家的发言权.

  • at the last i couldn't really tell, but when i first watched it.. i asked myself exactly the same thing as juhee. why did she say her chinese isn't the greatest? you don't have to answer my question.. i'm not trying to be mean or anything.. thx for the translation anyways..

  • Yes, I moved to the USA at 6 years old and then to Canada later on, but at home my family has always continued to communicate using Chinese as the main language. Even today, my roommates are Chinese international students, so we usually talk in Chinese as well. That might be contributing factors to a slight accent in my English. To be honest I'm surprised people have been saying my Chinese is good because aside from talking with my roommates I rarely use it these days.

  • (con't)

Also, as I mentioned in a previous reply, my Chinese reading and writing skills are about low-elementary school level at best.

No offense taken, juhee's "such thick chinese accent and improper grammar usage!" comment irked me a bit hence my testy reply to him/her. Thank you for watching the video and commenting, glad the translation helped :)

  • finally i know what the girl on the video was saying... i just got a quick question. i'm just curious and wondering how you have a bit of chinese accent. you said that you moved to states or somewhere when you were 6yrs old. no offense.. but most of my friends sadly have huge accent when they speak their mother's language even though they moved to canada when there were in elementary.. is it because you've been living in china town?? im not trying to insult you or anything...

  • did you record this? you spoke the exact same way as her o.o like...same coughs and "umm"s and everything. that's pretty darn good o.o you should be a voice actress lol.

    anyway...cocky lady -.-

  • Haha, thank you, I assure you my coughs and "umm"s were unintentional :)

  • yeah i agree with greatchnpeople. i was wondering why she said her chinese isn't the greatest because it's already obvious that chinese is her first language. such thick chinese accent and improper grammar usage!

  • Re:juhee1856

I can speak and understand Chinese (mandarin) when spoken to on a conversational level. I moved to the USA when I was 6 years old, and therefore, my English is many times better than my Chinese, particularly in the areas of reading and writing (writing is a bit easier now with the help of computers where I can use pinyin). You may want to look into the mechanics of your own English usage as even upon first glance I can see many errors.

  • (con't)

That aside, however, I fail to see how your comment or observation, rightly or wrongly, has any bearings on the video, its content or the situation surrounding the girl from LiaoNing. Personal insults and attacks are usually idiosyncrisies reserved for when one runs out of solid and meaningful criticisms.

  • Damn! ur translation is awesome, much better than Rice girl. ummm. u should put her picture in ur video so ppl can know who u talking about.

  • why is taiwan in the map of that chinese soviet flag?

  • Re: xt3324

I'm sorry, what "Chinese Soviet flag"? If you mean the first image of the 2-interconnected hearts, one is a representation of China, the other (the maple leaf) is of Canada.

Both maps were found on google!image after I consulted the United Nations website as to exactly where the borders of each country fell by technical regulations of the United Nations.

  • are you retarded? soviet flag? what the hell is wrong with you. Taiwan should be incorporated into china as a united standing country.

  • there all commies thats why

  • Yes, I'm an undercover commie with a Canadian citizenship. If that's the case then the UN's also been infiltrated by those commies considering it's their placement of borders I used as reference for when I was looking for the maps for my picture.

  • Thanks for the translation. I was thinking what the fuss about that video and now I understand.

You know, actually I feel sad for that girl, I don't know why. Maybe because she lacks empathy like most human beings, or maybe because she is an online-game addict, similar to drug addict or alcoholic.

  • I agree.

  • RE: sppgod2006

    1) 我的"反骂" isn't half as harsh as 有些我看过的videos.

  • i have no idea why you delete my message which i send last night? is that only because i have different oppinions? or i found out your bad grammer that says "Open tv".........

  • I haven't deleted your comment, it's currently sitting on the second page, that might change if more comments are left.

If you'd wish to play the grammar-guard game, I'd be happy to oblige, but just from reading this comment of your's I'd suggest otherwise.

Anyone, Chinese or westerners, that would believe that the girl, ZhangYa is representative of all or even a significant number of the Chinese people should also check themselves into a mental institution as soon as possible.

  • (con't)

I certainly did contemplate over doing the translation, as responses similar to your own was predictable and certainly your worries are justified (especially considering recent events), in the end, however, I have a bit more faith in humanity that the large majority of the people will see the amazing unity and strength the Chinese people have displayed and realize this girl is NOT a representation of 1.3 billion people at all.

  • I saw 'myricegirl's misleading video before I found yours, that why I think it is necessary to keep your translation on youtube. You did a good job.

  • so truth. i seen her version, really bad, your is much better

  • Yes, I agree. After viewing the interpretation from myricegirl, I really hope someone else would make a good translation instead.

  • (con't3)

If this was 50 years ago then I'd agree, use the language barrier and keep this within China, no need to broadcast it all over. • omg that girl seriously need to get smacked.

  • Thanks for the translation. Even though I'm Chinese, I never really learned Mandarin so I didn't understand what that girl was talking about. She is rather rude.

  • 你好无知哦 ....丢脸!你还好意思翻译!我觉得你也是幸灾乐祸的一类!

  • 无知是你

  • Nice translation and commentary. Thank you. *****

  • support.. no need to translate in youtube, its within chinese affair, 不要给机会反中国的老外有话说中国。

  • U Chinese ppl should just relax and stop worrying that ppl will know. This is not degrading or disgraceful for Chinese ppl or China. Educated and sensible ppl (be it koreans, Japs or anyone) with compassion, will be able to see that the Liaoning girl was really immoral and heartless. Anyone who laughs at Chinese ppl because of what she said, will only reflect that they are insensitive and lack of any moral values too, which means they are not too different from that Liaoning bitch anyway...

  • Kitty you did a fine job... thanks

  • Well, at least she bothers to translate and let everyone knows the truth about that Liaoning bitch. She did a great job, and more people should upload the video onto the net, better if can have English subtitles...since that bitch wants to get famous. Check out the same video, as to why I feel that uploading the video will not disgrace China or Chinese ppl.

  • She is a Chinese blond, without being blond and not deserving to be Chinese. I guess that leaves her as...nothing.

  • Thank you for the translation. I wish I could watch the girl give her talk with subtitles. It's fascinating to watch someone so immune to the suffering of others.

  • omg...dont make any english speaker konw her words!!!! thats a shame..

  • Thank you, nice girl!!!!! from Taiwan

  • very good interpretation indeed.

  • What a shame on Chinese people

  • WRONG! It's only the girl who should be ashamed!!!!! EVERY CHINESE IS ENRAGED BY HER WORDS.

  • Wrong...its a shame on that Liaoning girl only, her actions and feelings does not represent everyone in China, but her words did offend almost everyone, so she has to pay for this eventually...I still feel proud as a Chinese and it is good that such a bitch spoke up...so that others in China who really think like her will wake up their idea and hit some sense into their shitty brain... =)

  • thx for doing the translation; it certainly helps explain to all those that didn't understand the original video why it was getting so many hits these past 2 days.

now on to the girl: i am angry and shocked at her tirade on the recent tragedy. how could she so carelessly disregard all those lives lost or injuries and damages caused by the earthquake? her apathy is saddening and i feel sorry for her - she probably doesn't know what love/care is & she'll go thru life just existing /rant over

  • cheers!

god job, much better than " rice girl", which made me sick

  • yep, very accurate indeed. but, it sounds so much more offensive in Chinese (Dong Bei Hua).

  • Great translation! thank you!

  • Great speach

  • Great speach! now more and more ppl would understand why we are so angry about this bitch! thanks for the translation!

  • This part one should also be made searchable on Youtube, the best translation so far.

  • I'm not sure why but sometimes youtube likes to throw temper tantrums and not put videos into the search results immediately following its upload x____X Probably give it another few hours and the system will have it uploaded into their search-able database? If it still doesn't show up by tomorrow I'll...I don't, re-upload or something. Thanks for your comments!

  • Pretty accurate translation, well done!
