There are actually 2 versions of "We Belong Together," this version heard here is the one first heard on the B-side of "Want Ads." On the album, "Sweet Replies," has the 2nd version, with a different vocal arrangement but the same instrumentation. I tend to like the "Sweet Replies" lp version of "We Belong Together," the same as with the 2nd version of "The Day I Found Myself" with the monologue at the beginning of the song. HDH allowed songs to be redone for a better feel the 2nd time around.

I like both versions but I would lean more to this one because I heard it first and I just love the way Carolyn and Shelly sing background.

I had this single when I was a kid. It was the B side to their hit "Want Ads",but I liked "We Belong Together" even better.
