@CaboNedster Well, real 40 mm grenades have a safety measure that only lets the charge detonate after a couple of meters, so such kills would be possible (but the nade would probably just knock the shit out of you due to blunt force trauma). Yes, people actually do use grenade launchers in these situations... Although I hate this game to the bone I must say that the safety feature is well implemented.

@krazykalash There is just 1 smart grenade that can calculate how far it has travelled to know what the safety zone is.. and the zone it needs to travel before being armed is 23 meters.. so basically.. no grenade can do what grenades from launchers as in CoD does.. and if CoD was using smart grenades.. then why do they still explode right in front of you at just 1 meter when the safety travel zone till detonation is at least 23 meters? ;)

@CaboNedster Actually, considering that galil is firing from some kind of m203 GL variant and the nade is a regular 40mm it should have a safety distance of 14 to 27 meters, no need for some kind of "smart nade", they all do that. The Galil shouldn't even be firing through an underslung grenade launcher, only the colombian version has that (i think), it should be firing a mortar like rifle grenade. But this game has so many realism issue I won't even go there.

@taipohh Yup, that's what you call a rifle grenade, it's fired from the barrel of the rifle itself instead of a grenade launcher
