@wirey52 the car actually came with the swap. but the normal price to do a good swap is around 3-4000. including complete engine, fmic, full exhaust, and replacing all the little things that will need to be replaced.

@deadkey61 The 240/180 has a universal chassis, so you don't need to alter any supports. However, the inlet and outlet are different. So you can either buy an SR radiator (that will use the same supports) or buy an aftermarket SR radiator. I went with a Mishimoto radiator, along with 12 inch fans and an inner cooler. There are quite a few changes you have to make with the 240 though such as battery location, power steering lines, ecu wiring, etc (depending on what your original engine is).

In Japan, It is 180SX wirth CA18DE and CA18DET from 1989 to 1991, after 1991 all S13 chassis come with SR20DE and red top SR20DET, then change to black top SR20DET on 1996, and ther late model Type-X is start from 1997 to 1998.

but it is still 180SX. In Japan local market, S13 never change it's name to 200SX.

Only the export model for UK, Europe and Asia is name with 200SX, and only come with CA18DET.

The export model for US is 240SX, mostly LHD. KA24 only

As @louiswun said (and he's the only person I've seen on Youtube talking sense), 180SX is JDM, 200SX is Euro market and 240SX is USDM as far as the S13 models are concerned. He also explained correctly that PS13 and RPS13 had the SR20DET engine (K=Hicas, R=Fastback, P=SR20DET, S13=Chassis code).

I cant tell by the bottom corner on the back apron iif you have them or not, throw the kouki tail lights on, they look oodles better then the shitty normal RS13 items. What headlights have you used? It's a sil80 so you have a couple options for them....

I also Hope to god you dont have the standard S13 seats in there.... BNR32 GTR/RPS13 (kouki) seats are a million times better!!!

@F0RCEFED the headlights i have are the bricks. i had projectors but i didnt like them. yeah i have stock tails will get koukis eventually. seats are top on the list. but the main thing is getting the new engine in it. when i get back. once i get it engine running good again. i will focus on gettinng the non mechanical upgrades after that.

alot lol. the car is painted. i already blew the rings on that block, and am building a mazworx 2.2 block that could go in any time, if i could just get my head back from the machine shop. planning on making about 300 to the wheels with a t25 around 13 or 14 psi. plus i might add an 80 shot.
