They literally have to arrive DURING the violence before anything gets done about it. Believe me, I've been there. The only way it can be done (lying and getting him arrested) is to get an AVO or intervention order. You can lie to get that as there is no burden of proof. Next time the man comes over, call the police & he MIGHT be charged for that.
